Great story
"This was a great story. I loved it. It did get easier to understand once you got a few chapters in, as the story went on things were explained better. With that being said maybe the descriptions of aristocrats and the clans should be at the beginning of the book so readers understand what type of characters they are dealing with. (If not readers should look at chapter 74 for the descriptions before reading if they want this clarification. I loved the character development and all the feelings: humor, love, sad, on the edge of my seat. Hehe Anyways great book and I can’t wait to read the 2nd book. "

"I am amazed. For a first book it was beyond my expectations. I read lots of books in a week and I finished this one in one sitting. The story even though you didn't think it thru you couldn't have gotten better results. It's raw, real and I love it. The way the characters are being portrayed they compliment each other out and the story itself is balanced. Although I am intrigued by something. If she is 26 in human years and her mother supposedly died 27 years ago.... I have a problem placing that..... Is her mother still alive? If so why give her up? Wouldn't it be easier to disappear? I mean she had her pregnancy that lasted 9 months and no one knew she was pregnant.... That is the one gap that needs to be filled in this story. I'm curious as how her powers will manifest and if when they do so, is there something special about her that she had been given into adoption in order to protect her, if so from what and what makes it so special.... These questions are rolling in as if I'm on a rollercoaster "

Notes: The first chapters are a bit confusing as they deal with events from the past, but the way the chapters are written leaves out a lot of information needed to create a comprehensive narrative. On later chapters it is noticeable the improvement in writing style. I put this note, so readers don't het discouraged and stop reading. Give the story a chance and you will be rewarded with a really good story. "

"Initially, i was feeling a little lost within the first 4 chapters of the novel. I guess that was dued to how soon relevant information was given. But it was definitely uphill from there. The writing was exceptional and the plot totally engaging. I'm hoping for more romance between the leads (maybe the intimacy could be a bit more detailed 😏just saying, readers love that) also Diana was weak in this, i was hoping for a strong female lead in terms of power and being able to decipher ambiguous situations.Her supposed powers were nonexistent so for the sequel it would be great to see some character improvement there. She needs to become someone worthy of being the queen of the aristocrats both in demeanour and power. I hope she can rescue herself from dire situations without James having to step in. Overall i know it's a royal drama with unending palace intrigue and greedy sinister people trying to topple the hierarchy or shape it to their will, but i hope the main couple stands together firmly having each others backs , not falling victims to such underhand schemes...that will make for an even better book! 🙂 i reiterate : AMAZING STORY, AMAZING WRITING and i CAN'T WAIT for the sequel. 🤩"
