Chapter 1

Hannah was having a good day in her office. She very much enjoyed her life as it is, being the cheerful person she is, she took every little challenge in her life with a welcome smile and a positive attitude. According to her, every problem has a solution and everything happens in life for a reason. Her positive vibration sometimes gave her companions a solution and sometimes it was frowned upon. Just like today when her teamwork was appreciated in the meeting it made her happy. But her teammates were annoyed that they did not get the proper appreciation they needed and every effort was single-handedly claimed by their team leader Jessica.

While her co-workers were annoyed and mumbling that they were once again robbed out of their hard work by their team leader, Hannah was once again humming to a light melody and was going through a list of pages for a new apartment to rent. Like usual her cousin and a close friend Ivy frowned at her lack of emotion and marched to her to get a final word with the girl who is in her own world. Clearing her throat Ivy placed her hands on Hannah’s table and quietly frowned the girl who is now smiling and mailing to an owner about their apartment. She was very much interested in that place and would very much like to rent that place. Ivy glared at her openly now and placed her book quite harshly on her table, which finally grabbed the attention of her cousin who is in her Lala land.

“How come you are in a good mood now Hannah?” Ivy asked her cousin in an annoyed tone. Seriously she can never understand her cousin’s strange behavior sometimes. Like! People should be angered by the things happening around and the least expected a normal person should give is to at least an annoyed expression. But what is this rabbit doing now? Sitting here calmly, sipping her tea like enjoying a vacation and hunting for an apartment. God! How come is she my cousin? And also my best friend!

“Hi Ivy, Why should not I be in a good mood now?.” Hannah asked her friend and offered her a cookie knowing well the Ivy will be easily diverted with the presence of food in front of her.

“Your.Work. Is.Once.Again.Stolen.By.Your.Team.Leader.” Ivy muttered out quite irritated and was immediately stuffed with a cookie and abruptly cut off by her friend.

“Come on Ivy, No one stole our work. We did as a team and our team was appreciated also. Why should I be angry when the results are positive?” Hannah replied sipping her tea and once again stuffed a cookie in her friend’s mouth when she was about to start her argument again.

“You.Are.Unbelievable” Ivy glared at her friend munching her cookie and finally sat in her desk letting out an annoyed sigh. Tsk!Tsk!... this girl will never learn.

Letting out a happy sigh Hannah was logging out of her system and packing her things in her bag. It was the end of the day and she has applied a week’s vacation after many months. She was writing the notes to give her a one-week replacement when her friend and co-worker Tanya came by her place. Tanya was also her roommate and they were staying together for years now. Hannah wanted to experience a change in her life now and also Tanya wanted to move in with her boyfriend Daniel So Hannah volunteered to move out and find a place of her own while Daniel can move in with Minji.

Both Daniel and Tanya felt guilty when Hannah volunteered to move out but Hannah was happy with that and she convinced them that she wanted to try out on her own anyway for a while now. She also got permission from her parents for the same thing after too much time for this.

“Hannah, How come are you?....” Before Tanya can finish her sentence, Ivy and Hannah finished her sentence, “not angry....” While Ivy glared at Hannah, the later gave a small smile and a flying kiss to her friend.

“Ok! I got it. I got it.” Tanya muttered, fully understanding what her friend and roommate is going to reply to.

Hannah stood up from her place and gave a hug to both of them, “I will meet you guys in a week now. Bye”

Ivy and Tanya let out a sigh seeing their friend go on her way with a warm smile to everyone around her and felt bad thinking how will she handle her life when she meets with serious troubles with this attitude. They don’t want their friend to get hurt and also they don’t want her to hurt her life partner in her future with her happy go lucky attitude.

Meanwhile in another place.

Dylan Anderson let out a frustrated sigh when he read the documents. This proposal was an important deal to their company, and he did not want any flaws in it. Being a CEO at a young age it was not easy for him to run the business where he could not find perfection very easily. Satisfying him in the work is never easy. Triggering him is an easy task, like matching a stick. Appreciating a person is not an easy task for Dylan, according to him the work can be done more perfectly. Like now, when he got the documents and reading them with a slight frown on his face.

Knocking on his door, his friend Nathan entered and let out a tired sigh seeing his friend’s reaction which was a usual thing. Shaking his head slightly, Nathan, also the CFO of the company shut the door and approached his friend.

“Don’t tell me you are not satisfied with their work, Dylan,” Nathan told his friend and took a seat in the opposite.

Dylan frowned at his friend slightly and continued to read the document.

“It is a good proposal Dylan.” Nathan pressed again. Knowing his friend for years he already knew that it is impossible to change his friend’s opinion but still he tried it for every time.

“Still, it is not the best proposal,” Dylan replied making Nathan roll his eyes at his friend’s comment. Well, what else did he expect from his friend?. Knowing him he should have known the answer already but still, that did not stop him from asking his friend.

Letting out a sigh Nathan moved to another topic and started asking his friend about another proposal and the discussion dragged out more about business.

“So are you coming to dinner today? Andrea wanted to introduce her friend to you today.” Nathan tried again just for his girlfriend’s sake. Nathan and Andrea were in a relationship for a couple of years now. His girlfriend’s friend has an eye for Dylan and is also quite persistent, which made his girlfriend Andrea to ask him endlessly to arrange a blind date for them. Girls! He never understands them, why that girl is still interested in him even after knowing him well that he is not interested is beyond his knowledge. Well, he had to ask at least to stop his girlfriend’s nagging.

“No. And you know it already,” Dylan replied and took his Laptop placing it in his bag. Nathan shrugged as an answer to that.

“Tell Andrea to stop playing matchmaker between us already. I have enough members in my family for that.” Dylan muttered and frowned reading a mail on his mobile.

Nathan stood up and showed his palms up in a surrender motion. “Try telling that to her Dylan. Seriously I’m not asking you to meet her friend. It is totally up to you. I just want to convey you the message from her so I can be relieved from her nagging.” Nathan shrugged and Dylan let out an annoyed sigh with a shake of his head.
