Chapter 1
In a majestic scarlet train sat a young girl of eleven, she was dressed in a dark sweater and a woolen skirt, one eye the shade of an emerald forest and the other a lovely yellow, her skin the color of chocolate, her hair was a bushy mess, she had the resemblance of a doll with her lovely round face and petite stature. Beside her in a cage lay a lovely corn snake whom she named ‘SEPTIS’ the snakes amber eyes solely focused on its mistress as it let out occasional hisses. The girl, Pandora, sat alone in the compartment looking into space, clearly lost in thought, she was immediately shaken out of her day dreaming when the compartment door burst open to show a boy with light brown hair standing at the door holding unto a puppy, “ Sorry to barge in, the other compartments are quite full’’, said the boy nervously, the girl, Pandora, stared at him quietly, “It’s alright”, she said as she looked out at the view outside which only seemed to be a blur, “My name’s Hadrian, what’s yours”, the boy said with a shy smile, “Pandora”, she said, her eyes moving towards him with sudden interest ,“What’s your puppy’s name?”, she asked, the boy smiled at the sudden change in topic and said, “Rebel”, he smiled down at the puppy in his hands, “He’s an adorable pug”, she said smiling at the Rebel, a look of resignation appeared on the boy’s face when he saw the snake in the cage, the nervous look appearing once again.

Pandora turned her green eyes to her snake and smiled, “His name is Septis, he’s a corn snake”, Hadrian smiled at Septis nervously still trying to make up his mind, “Don’t worry he isn’t venomous, I did my research before I got him”, she said smiling reassuringly as she opened the cage slowly and reached her hand inside, Septis curled himself around the limb and hissed in satisfaction at the change, Hadrian was now pressed on the door looking slightly but he seemed to be hyperventilating but he calmed himself enough to sit on a chair, “It’s alright if you’re, he’ll get used to you, he’s quite a good judge of character”, she added with a small smile at the snake who curled itself on her lap, Rebel began to chew on the sleeve of Hadrian’s sleeve for the lack of better entertainment, “I think we’re going to be great friends”, he said with a small smile, Pandora returned with a small smile of her own as Septis who cracked an eye open noticing the way the tension completely vanished, this was the start of a nice friendship.
Author’s note: Here’s a story I wrote when I was eleven, found it while I was skimming through my really old stories, so I tried to fine tune it and change the a few things about the characters, but not much since that would mean that I’d have to change a lot of things and re-write. So here you go. I hope you guys like it.
