Introduction

Life

...

This word. This one word that describes everything we do and all the things we go through. It can make you smile and burst with joy, or it can completely drain your soul and bring upon years of misery, hurt or heartache.

My name is Arnica Casey and I'm about to let you in on a time when it felt like life just wouldn't give me a break.

I'm a 24 year old woman working a low pay job to pay the bills and keep food on the table. I'm a retail sales assistant with no educational background besides high school and got kicked to the curb by her father for being a Lesbian. An introverted lesbian none the less with absolutely no social life.

How I ended up here? Well, you'll find out soon enough.

I'd say I'm your average girl. Long brunette hair and brown eyes, rather plain Jane. I don't dress up unless I really have to, I don't wear makeup every day and I don't eat healthy or work out. I've been chubby for most of my life. I mean come on, who doesn't love food right? Mix that up with Anxiety and a shit ton of gaslighting and you've got yourself an Arnica Casey or a hot mess if you'd like.

Great start huh?

But enough about me let's begin this annoyingly long journey...

If you missed it, the short version is: werewolves got nothing on po...

Ren: The storyline is great! The author has built a rich and compelling world, I really like the elemental powers and how those apply in combat. Sometimes there are situations where I wonder why the characters don't use their powers in more practical ways outside of combat, like why doesn't Ross use his ...

Theresa: Very well written. Scary part is that girls and boys are indeed even today sold for sex.The ones who save them don't get enough credit for their bravery.
