It is the year 2086. After the cloning revolution, cloned crops and livestock are well underway towards becoming the staple food supply of planet Earth. Enter Esme Powers, angry that her patent that revolutionized cloning was stolen by the HCBA (the Human Consumption Betterment Agency). She's wicked smart and willing to use that intelligence to get revenge. She creates a supervirus that will destroy all cloned animals. Enter Nadia Chase, an underpaid wild cat behaviorist whose life falls apart when the unthinkable happens: a tiger she's responsible for gives birth- the first time a cloned animal has done so in over thirty years. When she's recruited to be a part of the team that might just save the world, she begins to uncover the secrets the HCBA has been covering up for decades... including the suspicious death of her mother. The unlikely team forms a deeper connection as they race to prevent mass starvation.
