Hannah meets Rose Weasley
The door of the compartment slid open and a shy girl with blazing red hair stepped in.
"Anyone sitting there?" She asked politely.
Hannah shook her head and the girl sat opposite her, twisting her fingers nervously. Hannah glanced at her and quickly noticed she still had that mark on her nose, coal she expected.
"Are you really Hannah Potter?" The girl blurted out. “Sorry that was rude, I’m Rose Weasley.”
Hannah nodded
“Is it true you have a scar the shape of a lighting bolt?” Rose asked.
Hannah pulled back her fringe to reveal the scar on the top of her forehead. Rose stared.
“How many siblings do you have then?” Hannah asked curiously.
"Five," said Rose. "I'm the sixth in our family to go to Hogwarts. Bill and Charlie have already left -- Bill was head boy and Charlie was captain of Quidditch. Now Percy's a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they're really funny.
Rose then reached for the bulging lump inside her jacket pocket and pulled out a fat, cute hamster which was asleep.
"His name's Nibbles and he is completely useless, still he’s cute though so I don’t seem to mind as much.”
Around half past twelve there was a great clattering outside in the corridor and a smiling, dimpled woman slid back their door and said, "Anything off the trolley dears?”
Hannah hadn’t had breakfast and leapt to her feet at the chance of some food, but Rose trying not to be rude refused and got out some sandwiches.
Rose stared at Hannah as she brought all the sweet food back into the compartment for them to eat.
"Go on, have a pasty," said Hannah, knowing she could not eat all the pasties, chocolate frogs and candies by herself.
