Chapter 1
It was awkward, at first,
and we did not get along too well.
I was a child. I didn't quite get it.
Why she would treat me so.
As I got older, I began to see
that we weren't so different, her and me.
My Rheanne was a good woman,
One I could get along with.
My Rheanne fell ill one day.
It wasn't so long until she got better.
But then she fell ill again.
And she would be ill forever...
My Rheanne left one sunny after noon
I will not see her so soon again.
My heart is broken, a friendship is gone.
My Rheanne will not return.
I miss her so, I really do.
I wish we'd had more time together.
Tomorrow we say goodbye,
Until we meet again in the wide blue yonder.
