"I thought this book was a beautiful perception of mental illness, not only in women but in men. the stigma around a mans mental health is one i think should be diminished and this book is the perfect answer. i would recommend this book to friends, those struggling with mental illness and also loved ones of those with mental health issues to relate to the struggle. "Your writing is definitely an inspiration for me. The way you handle Devin's mental heath so tenderly, but in a realistic light is refreshing. I can relate to him because of him mental issues. I'm not bipolar, but I've seen how those episodes can happen and it scared me, so seeing it in the persons perspective has definitely helped me empathize a bit more. Genevieve is a character I can personally relate to since we share a common religion. I'm also surprised that you used Christianity since most people would choose almost any other thing. I'm not sure if this is your own personal life being reflected or you chose it for the trope. Either way, the fact that I can agree with how the characters behaves in terms of saving herself for marriage is wonderful. Your writing style is well done. Easy to follow but it keeps me wanting to read more. I'm going to move on to your next book and I hope it continues similar to this, because its really good. I'm recommending this book to my friends. "I am struggling with the open ending, I strive for closure and this one leaves it lingering, BUUUUT that doesn't stop me from loving this story. The characters are raw and real and very compassionate, it's love amongst personalbdemons and acceptance which is so hard to find in real life. What a beautiful story! "
