Chapter 1

Blaze

"BLAZE! GET UP, YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!"

I looked at the time, 7:45.

I hurriedly got out of bed and into the shower, how could I be late for school? I'm never late, never! After I finished the quickest shower humanly possible I ran got changed and ran down the stairs, I got an apple from the table and sprinted towards school.

It's a good thing that we live so close to the school, if we didn't I don't know what I would do.

As I arrived at school I looked at the time, 8:07. I was 7 minutes late!

As I ran towards 1st period I bumped into Jax, the school's bad boy.

'Oh snap' I thought, this was not going to end well, especially since I can be quiet sassy.

"Watch where your going, nerd" Jax sneered.

I wanted to sass back but I had to get to class. So I mumbled a sorry and entered the classroom, and guess what?

Everyone was looking at me, can't they mind their own business?

Just so you know I do not do well with people, I'm what you call antisocial, and if a bunch of people look at me I can begin to have a panic attack. What are people doing right now? Looking at me!

I began to breathe heavily, oh god no! Not right now! Just make them stop looking at me!

As if someone was listening to my prayers the door opened again and in came the most handsome guy ever! Suddenly everyone's gaze went to the guy behind me. At least they weren't looking at me anymore.

The teacher looked at us with a stern look, "Why are you late?" She asked.

"Oh I'm new so..." He trailed off.

"And you?" She turned to me.

My eyes went wide, "uhh, I was...uhh..."

"Showing me around, since I'm new he volunteered to show me around, yeah." Trent said saving me once again.

"Well' Mrs. Parker looked at us expectedly. We looked at her confused, "are you going to sit down?"

Right, I headed to my seat and the guy stayed right where he was. Oh no, you do not want to get on her bad side, yikes!

"I don't have a seat remember, I'm new."

A bunch of girls began to giggle, they totally have a crush on this guy.

"Just sit next to Blaze"

"Who?"

"The guy that showed you around"

"Right and who is he again?"

"BLAZE, RAISE YOUR HAND!" The teacher screamed.

I slowly raised my hand, his gaze was fixed on me. Then the corners of his lips turned upwards to form a small smile. As we walked by the group of giggling girls he winked at them. All their faces turned to beat red, while one of them even fainted. Please, he's good looking but not enough for them to faint.

He sat in the seat and the lesson began.

As I walked out of class I got stopped by a hand, I looked up to see the handsome guy that saved me from the teacher.

"Can-Can I help you with something?"

"Yeah, I saved your butt from the teacher so you have to do something for me."

Oh no! "I didn't ask you to do anything so it's not my fault"

"Yeah no, I just need you to show me around the school, that's all."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Ok"

"What's your name anyway?"

"Trent, you're Blaze right?"

"Yup, we only have 4 minutes until the bell rings"

"Why don't we just skip?"

I started laughing hysterically "You're funny, I've never missed a class in my life"

"You mean you actually go to class?"

"Yeah..."

"Your such a nerd."

Suddenly I got really angry, I never missed class because I want a good future and it's not my fault if he wants to work at McDonald's when he gets older.

"Come on," I said angrily

"Woah, are you angry because I called you a nerd"

I didn't answer

"Look I'm sorry, am I forgiven?"

Silence

"What's your second class?" I asked him

I was only met by silence

I turned around to see he was looking at me with an amused look.

"Fine, find your class without me then," and with that, I walked away.

"No, wait! It's Science."

I hummed but I don't think he heard me.

"So your not going to show me to science class?'
