The Fosters?

~Avery's POV~

"Avery Darling" My mum's voice said while entering my room "What?" I groaned. "It's time to get up, It's 10 o'clock" She replied opening my curtains "Give me 10 minuets" I grumbled getting out of bed. I got dressed and put my hair in a messy bun and walking downstairs where I saw my mum sat at the table with two cups with steam coming from the top. "Morning" I said taking a seat across from my mum "Avy don't be mad" She started "Oh no. Every time you say that I always get mad, What have you done?" I said taking a sip from my steaming coffee "I'm going on a business trip tomorrow" she sighed "Great. So can I ask Ellie and Andy to stay with me for while you're gone so I'm not alone like last time?" I asked refering to the last time she went on a trip and left me, Ellie and Andy alone in the house for two weeks. "Avy, It's for two years" She sighed again "No. I can't be alone for two years" I said sadly "I'm sending you to the Fosters" She said finally making eye contact "The Fosters?" I questioned "Yes. They lived here before having their eldest son" She said and I nodded not remembering meeting any family called the 'Fosters' "Well they live in LA it's a two hour flight and you're flight it at 12 tomorrow" She sighed, I looked at my now cold coffee and sighed "Should I go pack?" I asked sadly. I'm use to my mum going away but this means a new school, new friends and new family, She nodded and left the table. I sat there alone with my thoughts for ten or so minuets before heading upstairs and grabbing my phone of the side table, I texted my two bestfriend's Elisha and Miranda 'Come over. ASAP. We need to talk.' I sent, I set my phone on the table and went to my wardrobe and grabbed two large suitcases from the top, I looked at my phone and read the two texts from my bestfriends's 'Way to worry me Ave. Be over in 5 x' Miranda said, She's the friend that panic's a lot and knows instantly when something wrong 'Andy's coming to pick me up then we'll be over x' Elisha replied, I sighed and placed my phone in my docking station before pressing shuffle, half way through Glee's Fighter the door bell rang "I'll get it" My mum replied, I sighed and turned to my draws and pulled out all my clothes and placed them in a big pile on my bed where my suitcase's weren't "Hey" Elisha said tackling me from behind, I laughed and turned around to hug her, we pulled away and I walked towards Miranda who took a step back as soon as I got in arms distance of her "What's that" She said tears filling her eyes pointing to my bed where my suitcase and clothes were "I need to talk to you both" I said walking over to my window seat tears now filling my eyes "My mums going on a trip for two years so she's shipping me off to LA to live with some Family I don't know" I said when they both took a seat, Elisha gasped always the drama queen and Miranda just hugged me "Looks like we have packing to do" she sighed pulling away, I smiled sadly at her as we all stood up and walked to my bed and began packing my things.

Two hours later and Elisha was zipping up my last bag while Miranda was putting all my electrical into a smaller suitcase my mum gave me "Do you girls want to stay the night and take Avy to the airport? I can't take you Avery I'm sorry but I have to do something at the company before I go, I'll pay for the taxi fair" She said practically begging "Sure" Ellie and Andy replied, I sighed and put my outfit for tomorrow on a hanger in my now empty wardrobe and pulled out Ellie's and Andy's spear pair on Pj's they left here then I opened my now empty pyjama draw and pulled out my last set, I heard my mum sigh and walk down the stairs then I felt Ellie and Andy hugging me from the sides. We stayed like that silently until my mum shouted us for tea "It took longer than I though to pack" I said with a empty chuckle as I paused my music and walked downstairs where my mum had a domino's pizza waiting for us.

"I'll skype you when I get there" I said with tears running down my face "Don't cry Ave" Elisha said pulling me into a hug soon joined by Miranda "Flight 230 to Los Angeles now bording" I sighed and pulled apart grabbing my suitcases before saying "I love you guys" My voice now clearer "We love you too Ave" They both said arms around each other waving, I sent one last sad smile before getting onto the plane sighing and wondering what my new family will be like.

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
