A Note from the Author
I tend to write short stories when I’m stuck on a current project. I wrote this short story while trying to figure out conflict for my characters in the Then Again. If there are any spelling mistakes, please be considerate. It’s a one-off thing and I’ll be sure to come back to it for more editing. Please give the story a like if you enjoyed it! Please comment and be sure to check out my on-going novel.

A short story set in No Man’s Land. Major Khan is waiting to strike the enemy but the thoughts of his wife won’t leave him. As he sits in the thickets, waiting for the enemy to make their move, he’s thoughts wander to the bliss of being at home, cuddled with his true love. Major Khan dwells on what is becoming of humanity and how much longer will his duty to country and constitution keep him away from love.

Sounds interesting!
