Not As It Seems
A slender woman, with hair as dark as night, her skin a light shade of caramel, her smile so radiant and captivating. She looked like she was in her late twenties or early thirties. Clementine Barfields was her name. She was without a doubt stunning. Too bad she was a serial killer!
“I don’t think I’ve properly introduced myself. I’m Ms. Field. What might your names be?”
Who’s Field? Well, that’s Clementine. Clementine Barfields. The psychopath gave herself the nickname Field’s. Simply because she couldn’t go around telling everyone all of her personal information. Come on now...she isn’t stupid.

“It’s alright. I’ll tell you if you tell me, okay?”
April went first, "Well, I’m ten.”
“And I’m twelve and three quarters. I’m practically a teenager!” June squealed.
Field’s let herself laugh at June’s last comment, "I’m thirty-one.”
The small talk bit is one of her best tactics. Interacting with the people she planned to kill, learning new information about them, their family, their interests. It gave her a cover story and insight on her prey’s capabilities. While Field was thinking, she came to the conclusion that she had to take immediate action. She needed to take this gullible family out as soon as possible. She strikes tonight.
