Prologue

It was a chaos I never had any idea that this will ever happen in my life. The lovely life which I lived turned into grief and shock in a moment. I saw my mother’s body lying on the floor I didn’t know what to do. My house was filled with police officers running in and out and cars and ambulance were surrounding my house. My mother’s body was taken away. Through the corner of my eye I saw my father standing talking to a police officer then he turned towards me and gave me a comforting smile that said everything is going to be alright Merliah but I could see that his eyes were saying that he wanted to cry but he couldn’t. I was taken away, thinking that I should not witness what was happening around. I saw what I had to.

This happened when I was seven, an incident which changed my life completely. It has been eight years to that night but I still cannot figure out why did she commit suicide when she was all happy with her life. There is something more I need to know than what I have seen.
