"Very nice. Nothing too complicated, just a gentle story with touches of humour. Reads very much like how the show sounds, if that makes sense. Would love to read more from this author. :) PS- I love how so many writers are making Zoe pregnant, as though it's deemed an unofficial best way to keep his memory alive- and how at least two mini-Wash that I've read have been named 'Emma'. :)"

"This story put me to tears, honestly. I liked how you flipped between the points of views, it gave the story a certain edge of emotion to it. I think my favorite part was the beginning with River explaining the changes in Zoe and mysteriously talking about Wash and his "present""
Heart-achey
"I miss Wash, too. You really captured Zoe's mourning. I wonder whether Mal would find a way to get Zoe and Emma to a home on the ground; the crew has been in and out of trouble so many times that Serenity and their naughty life can't really be safe for a small child. Much as my heart screams "Everyone has to stay together!!!" . Zoe may have loved the black, but I think that's because she loved Wash (who btw was always happy to go planetside). Lovely story! :-)"
