Incredible Start! A captivating story with fun characters.
"I have to start by saying that I was immediately drawn in right from the summary! The content did not disappoint; this is definitely shaping up to be a great read. The plot is the strongest strength this piece and this writer has by far. Magical teen girl stories are a dime a dozen, but this story jumps directly into the action and does a great job at making the audience wonder, "What's next?" This will only be amplified as the author continues to learn how to perfect their pacing. At times, we're thrown from back story directly into tumultuous action and at others the pacing of the action is perfect but descriptions or dialogue don't necessarily match. I highly recommend checking out Lois Lowry and Laurie Halse Andersen as fabulous examples of mastering this super tricky aspect of writing. Most importantly, when and how to flesh out the back story and characters while maintaining this breakneck speed of plot development. Another thing this author does so so so well is breathing life into their characters. The writer has a clear connection to the cast and does a fantastic job maintaining their relatability in a fantasy setting. Giving them more direct, significant moments for character development as the story unfolds will add so much richness! Tennesse Williams is (though a playwright) one of the best literary character creators of all time and is a great source to study. Finally, this writer has a clear grasp on the mechanics of writing both prose and dialogue but could use a third once over of their work before publishing to catch simple typos (but who wouldn't benefit from that extra attention to detail lol). Reading your piece aloud is the best way to catch those minor flaws your eyes otherwise glance over. I'll be keeping an eye on this writer and this work and can't wait to see what the future holds!"

"First of all, I really love the book cover, it's very interesting and really basically summarises the book in general. The intro was very well put out and grabbed my attention immediately. I loved that the book kept wheeling me in at every chapter and the intensity and innovativeness of the book go throughout. It keeps getting better and better. The descriptions are outstanding and very vivid. I can be able to imagine the places you described, and they are pretty clear. Getting trapped into this world of Stormin and the orders. this has been brought out extremely well from something that isn't supposed to be based on the real world. The adventure itself is thrilling and very outstanding. I loved the creativity and flow overall. Emotions were well put out and I as a reader feel very in touch with the characters. There were no mistakes in the book which made reading a breeze and the characters are very admirable. The cliffhanger has me excited to start the sequel (I hope there's a sequel). I can find myself reading this book all over again, it's so good!!"
