"I absolutely loved this story from start to finish. The author has an amazing way with words and makes you feel every emotion. I cried, laughed and almost threw my phone on a few occasions. This book will punch you in the heart, rip it out and then sew it back together. I loved the ending but I wish that there was a continuation to the rebuilding of their relationship. In the end great, gripping read that kept me on my toes and at times curled them ;P "

"The writing in “you” form when describing thoughts and actions of the MC was hard for me to swallow as it forced me to relate on a direct personal level to a mutilated woman living in hellish pains for years, which is simply a very hard thing to do. Yes, it was often a little awkward and definitely confrontational, but I love how the author forced me to think on these complex ethical matters which though not the core of the story were not avoided either. Kudos for that 👍 On the other hand, I was an immediate fan of the robot POV! I thought that his processing of words and actions was demonstrated in a way one would expect a machine to actually process things. The slow growth of self awareness trickling through that processing felt realistic. I loved seeing a reference to “A la recherche du temps perdu” of Marcel Proust (or the similar, more recent example of what the food critic of the cartoon Ratatouille went through) used here in the story. It made perfect sense this triggered something here too! Furthermore, I learned a few new English words as “coccyx” which I like 😅 Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed this story 🤩"
