Summary

Hopeful Jaxon is the good girl in her small country town. She's 21 and just got home from college. Alexander Mason, often called Sinful, is the exact opposite. He's 25, and he has been home for about two years, after traveling for a bit, much to the town's disagreement. When Alexander runs into Hopeful at her new bakery, how will he react. Will there be A-an undeniable attraction, B-an unfathomable hate that's really a disguise for fear, or C-a situation involving polar opposite reactions, and no idea how to respond no matter the different encounters.

Prologue

Prologue....

Hopeful Jaxon:

I pull up to the small house of my childhood that I had last seen four years ago when I left for college and resorted to calls only so I could focus on studies. Well, except for a couple days ago when I came to check on the progress of my bakery. My parent hadn't understood much modern technology, and didn't know how to answer my calls half the time. But, I loved them. My mother, Melody, owned our flower shop, and my father, Michael, he's our High School's football coach.
Mad Hatter, my bakery and cafe, named for my favorite Disney movie character, isn't too big, but it has everything I need. And the walls are painted a pale blue that's almost white, with silhouettes of the Cheshire cat, white Rabbit, Alice, and of course, Mad Hatter.
I didn't expect much business in the first week. I definitely didn't expect Alexander Mason to be a regular customer.

Alexander Mason:
When I came home, no one expected anything of me. My Mom ran off the second I turned 18, and my Dad was the town drunk. They weren't surprised when I rolled into town on a Yamaha Raven, or that I had too many tattoos to count. The bar was set so low, that a baby could exceed, but no matter what I did, I was never good enough. Not that I cared.
When I came home, I didn't expect to see a new brown haired beauty in Jeans, and a blue t-shirt, and just happened to be one of the most beautiful girls I'd ever seen. I didn't expect her to turn around, look at me with her big green eyes, smile, wave, and invite me into her bakery.

I didn't expect to want to keep coming back. They called me sinful, and she made me feel anything but. Her name was Hopeful, and that's how she made me feel. What the hell do I do now?
