Every time someone says they love me
I know that it’s not true only because
They don’t know the real me
They love the girl who they see
And that is smiling, laughing, gets
Angry, and it’s just silly but the
Real me is broken, suffering, longing
For love, happiness with others, and
Longing to drop the mask
I never want to bother other people
With my problems so I keep it
Inside until I can’t hold it
