"Read a few paragraphs and that I was all I could do. I was so confused reading the first few paragraphs. I didn't know who was speaking in some areas, making it hard to follow. There is a lot of telling as well...meaning the author doesn't show what the characters are doing, instead the author blatantly tells the readers what the characters are doing. A difference between a good book and a great book is if the author can play show and tell well."
