Chapter 1
Yelling and screaming. Words and truth. A “No, I’ve had enough!” and a slam of the door. In a world where actions speak louder than words, speaking is harder than leaving.
A chance at equilibrium thrown down the drain.
Slap.
“We don’t need your words!”
“Well, I don’t need your fists!”
This was an opening, not a shunning. To create a world where words can be heard, one must leave the only world they know.
“One day, every single one of you will regret closing your ears. I swear it on every inch of my being now and after death!”
“Try cursing this you twat!”
Bash.
“Don’t chase after me. I’m done.”
“And stay out!”
Thinking and waiting. A turn and a twist. East and West. North and South. There’s sound but no words. Crunching leaves and splashing puddles. Greenery and a running river.
Splash.
Sigh.
Water to calm the rage, to stop the action. Water for rationality and peace of mind. Greenery for scenery. To see the light in the world.
“A place for me and just me. No yelling, no screaming and no ignorant souls.”
Giggle.
A sign of joy. Real joy. No more forced smiles. No more scrutiny. Just a significant individual not a ne’er-do-well.
Radiant smiles and frollicking amongst the meadow. To see the world for its true beauty not the constructs of a world where acceptance is only for conformists. For the real world encourages the individual to dance and laugh. To be yourself, to talk and to experience.
“Why hello there little one.”
“Chirp.”
“Here to keep me company? You can stay even if you’re not like me.”
Caress.
Care.
Actions with words.
Equilibrium.
Life has only just begun for our dear protagonist, what lies ahead... well I cant tell you that just yet, we wouldn't have a story then now would we?
But I can tell you this, change will pull you left and right, up and down, and to your spirit? It could make it stronger or it could crush it.
