"I really liked this book, it was a fantastic read. I got it through the Inkitt Book Group, and they never fail to find me a good book. It just hooked me right along, and I couldn’t put my phone down. Sometimes the wording was a little hard to understand, like a deep dive into the end of the pool, but rereading made it easier. It was truly a fabulous read, 10/10 :) good job"

"Normally, dystopian fiction isn't my cup of tea, but I found that i couldn't stop reading it. The characters were very well-rounded. I liked how we got to see everything that Alex went through, her complete transformation from a young woman who obeyed every rule and law set, to this warrior who is determined to bring down the very society that she was born into."

"Very seldom does a story grip me so tightly that I finish it in one sitting. This book started slowly but kept getting better with character development and plot evolution. Although some bits could do with a bit of paring down, the style of writing kept my interest hooked. Would love to read it quite a few more times."

"I very much enjoyed the journey this book took me on. It started a little slow but once she met Sanoske I was hooked. The slow simmer in the budding of their relationship was very well written. There were quite a few grammar mistakes but the book makes up for that with its gripping story. There were also a few plot holes especially when it came to the war scenes. Beyond that, this is so worth a read. "
