"What a great story, first off, I don't usually read crime stories, but this is unlike any of the so-called norms. The subject matter will break the hearts of even the most hardened soul. But the way the author brings his characters alive, so you feel what they do and how they cope with the horrors within their world, and how they take control of the situations they find themselves in, is quite impressive and believable in the world we live in today. I found I loved the characters the more the story went on, cheering when the bad ones got their comeuppance. Great job as always, PartWolf."

"I won't lie, I have never been so scared of a story as much as I am of this one, I had to skip paragraphs that mentioned the torture, but the way you write is great. I got a doubt that it was Michael when you write how he put Amber to sleep, and if it was any other book I would have closed it then, but this one I didn't want to.. superbly written."
