Scene Synopsis Of : I Can’t Tell You
Jake and Annabelle have been friends for forever, They became friends at the age of 5 after Jake beat up some kid who was picking on Anna, they pinky promised to be best friends forever, They then did everything together from then on, They spent every birthday together, they would have sleepovers, Jake was there when Anna’s Mom left to go find herself and when Anna got her period and even bought her pads, motrin and chocolate due to knowing what to expect because he has an older sister, much to the relief of Anna’s dad, they were very different, Jake was the typical boy, he liked sports each one and spent much of his time perfecting each one and Anna liked playing music and drawing.
Things started to change in Middle School when Anna started to develop and boys started to notice, Jake didn’t like it and became even more protective of Anna, being oblivious as always never noticed the looks she got. She was more concerned about starting in beginners band and working on learning how to sew as well as perfecting her sketching, Jake learned to take his aggression and jealousy out in his sports and it worked well because the boys who noticed Anna, Jake made sure to always be on the opposing team of them and would always go after them only when they had the object that was needed in the sport he played.
Things really changed in high school when Jake became a huge hit in sports with Anna on the sidelines and Jake started dating which is when Anna realizes her feelings for him, she kept them to herself and hoped they would disappear so that she wouldn’t feel the pain of heartbreak every time she saw Jake with his newest girlfriend, She started to distance herself from him which is when she met Luke, who at first seemed really charming and this made her fall for him and it momentarily made her forget her feelings for Jake, the first 4 years of her relationship with him were a dream, Jake hated Luke but was civil towards him because Anna loved him and because he was in love with her.
Luke also hated Jake but was civil for Anna’s sake. When high school ended, things went downhill for Anna, Luke became possessive and abusive mentally, physically, emotionally and financially, for 2 years Jake didn’t notice his best friend slipping away caught up in his dreams to be a cop and when 2 years became 4 years he noticed many changes after he finally finished school, she had finished 2 years early due to the excuse of wanting to get a jumpstart on her career, she was a 5th grade teacher and lived in an apartment, now that Jake was more awakened to the fact that she wore more makeup then she used to.
which was none and she always wore long sleeves, scarves and sunglasses, her hair was always down and she didn’t hug anyone, she also didn’t have an opinion anymore, Jake was finally catching onto the hell that was Anna’s life and Luke had threatened Anna about Jake saying if he ever found out, he would end it all and pin it all on Jake and she knew he could, he was rich and powerful, but Jake was smart and one day he wanted to meet up and lunch was good until he started pressing and asking questions, which led to them leaving and fighting and that is where our scene begins.......
