Intriguing and well-paced
"The plot so far is extremely intriguing and I haven’t yet put it down. The links developing between the characters is whispering of fascinating twists and revelations in the coming chapters. The author’s voice in the early chapters is descriptive and slightly traditional, leaving the impression of a story being recalled from history rather than that of current events. The later chapter speak in tones reflecting the current day characters and setting. This helps to engross the reader in the plot and keep turning the pages. A fantastic first novel, I am excited to read more of this subtly tense, well-paced murder-mystery. "
