This is interesting :) sweetie .. you have a lot to learn from writing :) nothing bad meant .. firstly Grammarly and ProWritingAid are the two top apps to use .. you can download it for word documents or even if your typing straight from Inkitt .. you can add an add-on for your web browser your using :) secondly .. I can see what you meant with the Grammarly .. they will fix everything for you, sweetie :) all right here is the helping hand --- i should always be capital -- I -- when you explain her surrounding area .. rather explain minimal .. I get you want the reader to understand what is happening around her and where she is .. but with minimal information .. you can get the same reaction as with dramatically long sentences .. it's not a bad book .. it's really a sweet book and you have a potential idea going here, sweetie :)
Another thing I want to talk about is .. show don't tell .. so all author's hear about this at some point in their career's .. by reading other books and researching on the computer .. it gives you the ability to learn what it's like to show the readers what the character is feeling and how the world around them feels .. but keeping it also minimal is ideal .. emotions is also strongly recommended in the-first-person view :) you want to refrain from explaining too much .. like the last part .. you could say she gasps when she sees the surprise instead of telling a bedtime story :) you are your own unique writer .. I'm just trying to help you in this :) not trying to change who you are :) you don't have to take my feedback hun :)
