Layla flushed with anger when she saw mason punch her little brother. No one does that, especially not that jerk ,what was Ryder doing to tick him off anyways? who knows before I new it I blocked his punch from Ryder and twisted his arm so far back I hear it snap he yelled in pain I kick him and kick him until Ryder puts his hand on my shoulder Layla he screams I didn’t hear him over the adrenaline of beating mason up and “lets go” Ryder says I glare at mason before Ryder pulls me away mason curses at me and spits blood out of his mouth I pull away from Ryder and grab him by the shirt “ever touch Ryder again and I will kill you” I glared and dropped him.
“What was that about” Ryder yelled ” uh i just saved your ass a thank you would safiece” Ryder screamed out and pulled his hair ” look I’m sorry ems but i don’t need you to save my “ass” every time... I had it” “mhm” I managed, pulling his chin towards me and looking at the damage ” so are you going to tell me why he was pissed ” there was a long silence as I looked at Ryder’s face he finally answered” i ran into him on accident i felt something it was buzzing i shocked him he said i was a freak and a a pathetic one too i told him to shut the f#$% up ” I sighed suddenly having a idea ” I’m going to teach you how to fight you have the mouth now you just need to learn how defend your self I say” “really” Ryder says “ya ry ry i want you to protect your self”

EIGHT MONTHS LATER: Its amazing how much your world can change in eight months i think about that day over and over thinking about about how that’s how are real lives started back around to that month people started developing these strange gifts some can run fast, some are strong, some can breath under water as long as they want, while my brother’s veins are like electricity no one knows how it started and i think that’s not even the worst of it people went out robbed banks craziness was there in a amount of days people started to panic and people where scared that’s how eight months from now there’s no school no responsibility’s just you and your life and what ever else you managed.
