Chapter 1
I'm awaken by a bang. The smell of smoke fills my lungs. I dart out of bed and head outside. A swoosh goes past my face as I look up to see a fire spitting, winged, beast flying above our village. Screams of people fleeing from the chaos fill the village.
Sorry about that rough intro, let me introduce my self. I am Cameron, I have no family because they were traitors to our village, I am an orphan that has no friends, Well except one, Maris. His parents were friends with my parents, but that made them a suspect after my families crime and they were thrown in our king's dungeon. Our families have a bad reputation. Now back to what is happening.
A powerful gust of wind hits right across my face as I'm knocked to the ground. I try to get up but I feel weak, That is what I get for staying up half the night drawing. I hear a voice shouting my name as I struggle to get up. A hand grabs my arm and as I look over my shoulder I see... Maris. He lifts me up and manages to carry me to our command station.I see some catapults ready to fire at the dragon.
Me and Maris order them to fire at the dragon. Maris shouts "Load the cannons!!!" and they didn't have cannons which made it awkward. The Catapults fire in a second and with a swoosh I hear a growl of pain from the dragon as it falls to the ground. We stand on the dead dragon in victory. We are Legends!!!!
