Summary

When Fate found out that her parents arranged her marriage to someone she hasn't met, she left New York hoping to find her one true love somewhere far away. ***** Everyone in my family says that fate is what I am given. That includes having an arranged marriage even before I was born to someone I haven't met in my 25 years of existence. But I don't want what I am given. I strongly believe that marriage shouldn't be forced, contracted, predetermined or arranged. I will change my fate. I will find my destiny.

Prologue

Please, love god, shower me with your divine blessings. I traveled thousands of miles to be here because I have heard that this is the best place to pray for and find true love! So please have mercy on me!

I am begging the love god, Okuninushi- a Japanese matchmaking god. Yes, I flew 6889 miles from New York to here. That is how desperate I am.

"Why?"

I want to change my fate. Everyone in my family says that fate is what I am given. But I don’t like what I am given. I don’t want to have the same fate as my grandmother, aunts, cousins, and mother- they were all married to someone arranged for them since birth.

Don't get me wrong. I love my father. He is the best! I am lucky to have my mom and dad as my parents. I am thankful that I have both of them.

Marriage shouldn’t be forced, pre-determined, contracted, or arranged.

I want to feel the love! I want to love and be loved! I want to find “the one” my heart will fall for. I want to prove to my family that I can marry and be happy in LOVE!

I am determined. I will change my fate. I will find my destiny.

And this is where my story started...

"My Name is FATE, 25 years old, Single, and a hopeful romantic -not a hopeless romantic. But, yes, there is a difference. I believe in love, but unlike the usual hopeless romantic, I don’t wait for love to fall in my lap. Instead, I look for opportunities to both give and receive love."

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
