First day?...

"EEEEK!" I scream. "I can't believe I got accepted, oh my god, am I dreaming?"

My brother scrawls over in front of me.
"Sis you're not special. I got accepted too you know but you don't see me getting gassed." He says bluntly.

I frown at him.

"Duh Nathan, it's a rule that if you have any siblings, they all must go. You only got accepted because of me. Sadly I have a stupid twin that don't know how to appreciate and say thanks!" I snap sighing jokingly.

"Yeah that seems fishy don't you think? Why must they make all siblings go? That just doesn't seem right to me. Celia, I think we should reconsider this.." says Nathan.

I nod my head in agreement. Although this has been the first time my brother says something agreeable, part of me still wanted to go.

"Nate it's the best school in the world. Do you know how lucky we are? Come on...how about this? We go for the first day and come back if we don't like it."

"Hmm okay, I kinda want to see it too. But if its not as good as they make it out to be we are getting our butts back here!"

He swipes away his mauve wavy hair out of his face and smiles.

"Nate! Did you pack up your stuff yet? Why do I still see your suitcase empty?" Mum cries from upstairs.

We look at each other and Nathan pulls a funny face at me.

"Er oh" he says.

I laugh.

"Seriously Nate? How are we related?" I sigh.

I run up the stairs after my brother and sit onto my bed. I think of the time when I had had a strange dream. I never told anyone about my dream as it was too crazy for even me to accept it. I dreamt about the school. Frostwood high. Not the school in general, but a voice and figure that kept beckoning me to come towards it. It finally spoke mentioning Frostwood high and how I'm supposed to save someone. I don't know who but the words "SAVE HER PLEASE! FROSTWOOD HIGH!" kept drifting around me. This was partly the reason why I chose to go. Although it had lessened my excitement a little, it had in fact increased my curiosity vastly.

I scrunch my nose and sigh. It's not possible. I was probably too excited that I started imagining things. I get up and start to head towards the bathroom. Tomorrow was gonna be our first day. I had packed everything up before hand but for some reason I felt like something was missing. I shake my head and brush my teeth in thought.

As I get into bed I reach out for my phone and type in 'Frostwood High'.

Strange... No results found.

"I know the school is meant to be top secret, but not this secretive. I'm starting to doubt if it even exists," I mumble as I close my eyes.

"SIS WAKE UP!" I hear a distant voice screaming at me. I feel a sharp pinch on my left and I tear open my eyes sitting up in a flash.

"WHAT HAPPENED? WHO DIED?" I cry panicking.

I look up to see my frowning brother rolling his eyes in annoyance.

"No one died. The only person who nearly died is you. You know what the time is? 8 FRICKIN 30. THE COACH IS COMING TO PICK US UP AT BLOODY 8 50! Which means you have 20 fricking minutes to get ready." He screams into my ear.

"Geez calm down I already packed my things beforehand. I'm not a last minute person like you," I assure him.

"I am not!"

He stares at me for a few more seconds trying to think of something else to say back. Giving up instantly he walks out my room slamming the door harshly.

I shake my head.

"How are we related again?" I ask myself as I get out of bed.

I pull off my pyjamas and pull on a cute shirt tucked in with navy blue denims. I curl my chestnut brown hair into beachy waves and put a little bit of makeup on. I look at my reflection in the long mirror that lay beside my bedside table and smile.

I go into my bathroom and start to brush my teeth.

Strangely I didn't have that dream again.

Well I knew it!

I was imagining it.

Dreams aren't meant to be real anyways and they don't come true either so why am I worrying?

"I'm ready! I got ready in 10 minutes. You were panicking for no reason!" I call out to my brother who was standing in the middle of the stairs facetiming.

"Is this the time for you to be facetiming young man?" Says my dad as he walks out of his room and thumps down the stairs winking at my brothers phone to whoever it was. Probably one of his friends.

"DAD STOPP! THAT'S EMBARRASSING!" yells Nathan.

"Who was that?" I ask as I join my brother down the stairs.

"It was Drake," He retorts.

"Oh," I say.

Drake was one of his buddies. I should have known it was him. Although Nathans got a lot of buddies. Drake was the first person he would ever invite to any place he goes to. They are always together no matter what.

Nathan smiles at me.

"What?" I ask in frustration.

"Nothing, I just thought of something funny when I thought of Drake. It reminded me of the time you splashed water on his cake. I still wonder what he said that made you so shocked that day," he says.

I wack his head.

"I know what you're thinking and I suggest that you stop before you go to school with a broken leg!" I exclaim.

"Geez fine! Oh and by the way Drake got accepted to Frostwood too just in case you wanted to know."

I sit down on the breakfast table in annoyance.

"Morning honey! I made you your favourite. Avacado toast!" gushes Mum as she places the plate of toast in front of me.

Nathan sits in front of me frowning.

"What's wrong sweeties?" asks Mum as I bite into my toast.

"Nothing we're just tired, " I muffle.

"Okay then I'm gonna go to see you off when the coach comes." She says.

I nod my head in approval and look at Nathan who was on his phone.

"Your lucky you have someone you know coming with you" I say wiping my mouth.

He smirks.

"You know him too though" he says.

I smile slyly.

"Very funny Nate. But there are gonna be kids from all over the school. None of my friends got into it so I'm gonna be very lonely. I hope the kids are nice at least" I say sighing.

"Don't worry you got me and Drake. You can hang out with us if you haven't made friends yet" he says smiling at his phone.

"Why are you smiling weirdo?" I ask.

He shows me his text from Drake.

Should I bring an extra shirt just in case celia splashes water on me again? - Sent 10 seconds ago

I laugh.

"Good one" I say as I grab his phone and reply.

I suggest you bring a med kit instead.

I throw the phone back at Nathan who was laughing hysterically and head out towards the door dragging my suitcase that lay perched near the stairs with me.

I put on my sneakers as our parents come out from the living room gleaming.

Dad opens the door and I glance at the clock.

8 49

Wow I actually made it in time.

My brother comes stumbling out of the kitchen and races towards the door.

"You forgot your shoes," I say smugly.

He gives me a look of despair.

"Fine you win." He pants as he grabs his trainers.

Mum sighs.

"You kids, when are you gonna stop seeing every little thing as a competition?" She says.

I look at Nate nodding my head.

"Yeah Nate, you tell mum how you wanna be better at everything," I say.

He glares at me and opens his mouth to speak.

Beeep!!

It was the coach. I look out the door and see it. It was magnificent. Damn it was the best thing i've ever seen. Even better than our limo.

Woah!

Maybe choosing to go wasn't a bad idea after all.

As me and my brother enter the grand vehicle, I notice different sorts of faces peering out to see us.

I have to admit it was pretty nerve-wracking.

We get in as a man takes our luggage and plops them into some hole that seemed to be disguised as a bin.

Wierd.

I turn to face the kids all sat down chatting and continue to walk till I find an empty seat. I turn around to see Nathan with Drake.

Guess he has already found his mate, great now I'm gonna look like a lonely rat.

I walk on and see a girl with red curly locks of hair.

She smiles at me and gestures to the vacant seat beside her.

I smile back and sit myself down.

"Thanks!" I say

"No problem! I'm Sarah by the way and I don't really know anyone here but you seem nice so I guess we'll have to stick around together from now on, can we?" She asks.

I beam.

Maybe I won't be needing the company of Drake and my brother after all.

"That would be great! I'm Celia and I love your name, it's pretty," I gush.

Sarah grins.

"Thanks! You're very nice," she says.

Attention! Please put on your seatbelts!

I put on my seat belt tiredly.

This was gonna be a long journey...
