"This story grabs you from the start and doesn’t let go! While it is indeed dark in the beginning hang in and it slowly gets better as it goes. The author dives into domestic violence with a very careful and respectful manner which I greatly appreciate. Not everything comes up roses but rarely does life hand you just the petals, no life likes to make sure your roses come complete with thorny pricks. And anyone who has ever been around a pregnant person will relate to the barf fest. Wait till the birth."
