I will admit when I stumbled across this I was curious and not sure how it was going to go, even questioned how dark of a turn it was going to take but it was just enough darkness and I loved how the ending went. Finally something different
"Wasn't sure what to expect from this book but definitely was not this. The Bride of Lord Motte offers not only hints of humor and romance but a mild gothic feel that immediately draws you in. Authors like this are indeed unique and are worth taking a chance on. The grammar was great as well as pacing and plot. Kept me on the edge of my seat yearning for more. There isn't a lot to say seeing as its still ongoing but hope this writer keeps chugging on. 10/10"

"The tense and writing style weren’t my usual taste, so forgive lower stars, it’s just a matter of personal bias. The plot was very compelling though, and I enjoyed the characters, though I found myself having to go back and reread the last part of the previous chapter on occasion because the next chapter would open in a way that I felt lost/confused and questioning “Did I forget that?” lol"
