From foul, fractured fang,
Evolved to once skirmish flesh,
I'll deconstruct your lineage,
Rejuvenate you best
To recreate your image,
Revitalise the past
To see if you led to me.
Uncovered underground unknowingly
Legacies will be built from a tooth,
A whole species defined by the lense of one;
Paths differ to adapt, thrive, develop
Till again the present becomes past
Life to flesh, to bone, only bone;
Moribund are some left all as bone.
So slashing section of secret history
Lay on display for those in disbelief
Unable to connect the dots to their present reality,
Soon we will define future
As figment fossils of our present and the past,
A thousand bones of a thousand wars
And extinction excels the ranks!
Let all freeze,
Burn, drown, be forgotten until uncovered
Reconstructed, remember and placed
In a family made millions of years tomorrow,
Till our skulls are the mystery of yesterday
