Summary

"I want you Penelope" he whispered into her ear and pushed himself against her from behind. She crossed her arms over her chest when he attempted to touch her and instead his hands found their way down her back. "Everyone does" she snapped back and kept her eyes directly forwards. "Ah but everyone is not the prince" he began gently unlacing her corset and she glared at him over her shoulder. The Prince of the stars wanted her and nothing would compare to him. She frowned to herself. Just wait, he would come for her.

The Prince

"I want you Penelope" he whispered into her ear and pushed himself against her from behind. She crossed her arms over her chest when he attempted to touch her and instead his hands found their way down her back.

"Everyone does" she snapped back and kept her eyes directly forwards.

"Ah but everyone is not the prince" he began gently unlacing her corset and she glared at him over her shoulder.

"You've had practically every maiden in this castle and yet you harass me before our wedding?" She hissed at him

"You are to be my wife and I feel a breaking in is just." He chuckled to himself as her clothing dropped around her. He bent her forwards over the bed and pressed himself into her without any further delay. She kept her noises to herself. Any noises would signify that he won. She felt as though her insides were being turned out by his size and vigor and she realized why the women in the castle sought him out.

"How did it get this way?" She thought to herself and she let out a small cry when he thrust himself so deeply into her.

" I like that. . .cry for me" he grunted and moved her around to face him. He bit her neck, hard, to the point of drawing blood and she cried out again. It seemed to carry on forever before he finally finished and laid back on the bed beside her.

"Clean it up" he commanded, out of breath. She did as she was told and soon found covers that weren't tainted by her own blood to hide her body from him.

"That wasn't so awful for your first." He chuckled and wrapped himself around her. She tightened up in response and said nothing to him.

"When we are married I will please you like this every day." He ran his fingers through her long blonde hair before giving it a soft tug.

"You'd like that, right M'lady?" She nodded her head in response as the man behind her softly went to sleep. When he was asleep enough she shook free of his hold and drew to the window side. The castle was momentous and large, and to think this morning she had only come for a social call to agree to marry the prince.

She frowned to herself and held her stomach protectively. The royal family was structured on the system of producing a heir and she was afraid the oldest prince was hell bent on it. She had heard the rumors the moment she stepped into the castle and she believed them. He hadn't a spec of patience in his whole body.

The prince, Rodric, hadn't been the most emotional of companions, but he was certainly romantic and she could tell he never was told no. He was handsome and intelligent and everything a woman could want in this world, but she felt nothing toward him.

"Could I love him?" She asked herself in the darkness of the room. Her father had left her here without the carriage she was sure. She would leave to return home the moment the sun graced the soil.

"Father would be furious if I refused the royal families marriage invitation." She whispered and sat on the ground in front of the window. The moonlight tiptoed over her soft features and she watched the stars longingly from the window.

What if she was like the stars, high up in the sky where no one could touch her, harm her, or leave her side. She would be surrounded by beautiful things, safe in the sky.

"I wish things were different" she whispered softly in the night. And Penelope swore it was her imagination but she thought she saw the stars dance in the night sky.
