The Countries of Ardae operate relatively oblivious of Radix Malorum’s demonic plague clambering over the country like the fiercest sickness.

Sebastian enjoyed every moment with his girls, daughter Sebet and mate, Elsabet. But Sebet was stronger then expected and managed to make it beyond the castle walls where she was slaughtered by Targue before her mother, who now blames Sebastian for their daughter’s death. After Elsabet attempts to take her own life, Bast realizes that it’s long past time to free her.
Teverius’ self-exile to the Netherlands has been hampered by the Huntress who has sited him as her current prey. Making clear her interest. He’s now taken Burka, his Sarabi on a tracking mission to find Raese. Coming across a highly unique creature roaming the Paladines. And the Alpha, Deragan, has now demanded that Tev produce this Huntress that can prey on demons. Something, Tev has been unwilling to do.

Karina, once Acharius’ ward, is now evolving as a Cimmerii with her serpents and has murdered the women that raised her, Acharius’ precious elder women.
