Getting Back to her

We stood in my front yard and watched as her mom packed her things into their truck. Her mom is making her move with her father across the country because her new boyfriend does not like Marbella. She was only 13 years old. She was begging the whole time to stay. We just started hanging out. We were going to ask her to be our girlfriend. We really liked her.

I can not believe my mother is making me move to my dad’s because of her boyfriend. I screamed and cried the whole time she was putting my stuff in the truck. I saw Jason and Bryan were watching the whole thing. I really liked them both a lot even though we had just started hanging out after living next to each other for 5 years.

I ran over to them before I had to leave. Jason wiped away a tear with his thumb. “I’ll never forget you, my Bella,” he whispered in my ear hugging me goodbye. It was so hard to walk away from them. “I’ll find you again one day” I cried out to them.

I watched her the whole time she got in the truck and pulled away. I seen the hurt in Bryan’s eyes. Bryan and I are best friends his mom is married to my dad. We couldn’t decide which one of us was going to ask Bella out so we both were going to ask her.

I put my arm around Jason and told him that we will find her again. This goodbye was not forever. We just have to stay focused on making something of ourselves for her. Our Bella was special she has a heart of gold.
