Summary

3 years ago i was involved in a serious car accident where several vehicles were involved and there were many deaths, fortunately in my case the car behind me had a doctor in it who had just came from a convention and saw everything happen. I was rushed to the nearest hospital where he had to operate on me immediately. After the operation, i was kept in an artificial coma for two more weeks so that my body could recover better and I would not have pain. But no one could have predicted that i would suffer from amnesia...........

WHO AM I

“ Then see you back in three months.” Dr. Jones wrote the next appointment in his organizer ,as I looked out the window , several patients were walking in the garden some with a nurse and some with their relatives who were visiting.

“Will i ever get my memory back?” I asked as I turned and looked at the doctor.

“ No one can predict that, with some it can take weeks or even months..................”

“.........and with some it takes years or doesn’t come back at all.” I completed the doctors sentence as it was not the first time I had asked him this question.

“ I’ll just go.” I sighed and walked out of the treatment room. There was no point in hanging around here anyway.

It was now 3 years ago that i was involved in a serious traffic accident, with many deaths, luckily for me Dr. Jones was just in the area and he was able to get me out of the wreckage because there was little left of the car.........

The first few weeks after waking up from my coma were very confusing for me. But since i was wearing a necklace with the name “AMY” on it , they assumed it was my name which I didn’t mind because I couldn’t remember it anyway.

It didn’t take long for Dr. Jones introduced me to his daughter Kathy who was also in the hospital because she had just given birth to her baby. And after she left the hospital she kept visiting me, sometimes with and sometimes without baby Josie, and I must admit i was really looking forward to her visits because otherwise I wouldn’t get any and then the days would be very long.

Originally i was not from this village the doctor had been able to tell me that with certainly, at first i didn’t know why, later when i was discharged from the hospital it became clear to me very quickly, thanks to Kathy...............

I had seen her turn into a wolf and it took me a while to recover from the shock, but after her promise that she wasn’t going to eat me and then our hours of conversation, i began to get used to the fact that i now lived in the pack: “The golden moon pack”.

It didn’t take long before Kathy introduced me to different jobs, according to her it was to see where my talents lay.

“ Let’s go to my niece Jenny who takes care of a litter of puppies today.

I didn’t know what to expect, but I tried to be open-minded.

We walked a bit into the woods until we came to a clearing and there i saw a young woman of about twenty-five with seven puppies.

My heart was melting with all those adorable pups so when I asked if i might adopt one, I received an indignant look from Jenny, my heart immediately sank.

Kathy explained to me that these were werewolves and that they already had parents, but she could see from my face that I didn’t understand any of it now and she laughed.

“ Look, I will explain it to you. When mates meet , they want to mate and mark each other as soon as possible and that is to show other wolves that they have found their mate and are no longer available.

Mating and marking happens first in their human form and then in their wolf form.

But some are so h•••y that they mate first in their wolf form and only later in their human form and then you can end up in such a situation.” Kathy pointed to the pups.

“ These pups will transform into their human form when they reach the age of six, then their wolf goes to sleep to awaken back when they reach the age of eighteen in normal circumstances we shift at the age of fourteen but because they were born in their wolf form, with them it is later.” And she picked up one of the pups and handed her to me.

“This here is Molly.” And she smiled. A little uncomfortably, i took the pup from her.

“ Hello Molly, my name is Amy.” And I stroked her head and she started purring.

Jenny was busy taking Molly’s siblings to put them in a bin because she was going to take them back to their parents.

Jenny walked up to us and took the puppy from me.

“And last but not least our Molly.” She said

“I think she likes you because she normally bites anyone she doesn’t know.” Jenny looked at her cousin and then at me and she smiled.

Then we walked back to the village while Jenny went to take the pups to their parents.

Kathy had insisted on taking me safely to my cottage and actually i was grateful for that because i had enough excitement today and she thought I should rest now.

Here is the first chapter, i must now try not to mix up my two storylines ( first book untold truth is not quite finished and this book cabin in the woods is still at the beginning)

Let me know what you think of it.

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
