{prologue}
Dear Violet Young,
You once asked me who I loved most in this world, and at the time the answer was nobody, because it was true. I didn't love anybody, not my family, not any of my so called friends, not even Draco Malfoy himself.
My mother never even wanted me — but my father had said if they didn't have at least one child, that he would leave her. My mother at the time was naive and young, she loved my father dearly, so she agreed.
But once she had me, she only realized how much work it was — just how stressful it was to care for a child. You see, my father left us when I was only five years old. This drove my mother mad — she blamed me, for everything.
Ever since that day my mother has always reminded just how much she hates me, just how much she regrets giving birth to me.
Its hurt, but I'm use to the pain.
I guess where I'm going with this is .. I now have an actual answer to your question.
