"And thats a rap!"

I took a sip from my water bottle to refresh my dry throat. Getting up from my chair, I walked out of the studio. Monica, my producer, met me at the door.

"You, Roxy Fox, are a Californian sensation!"

"Thank Monica, how are the kids and husband?"

"Amazing, the sex is greater than ever, I can't thank you enough for helping."

She walked ahead of me as I stopped at my desk. Monica was having trouble with her husband and like every other person in California, naturally, she came to me.

I loved helping people with their lives, it just sucks that I was put in the box of 'Love Guru'. I used to write a colomb in high school where I would help kids with all types of problems, now I have a radio podcast where I choose music and hear people complain about how shity their love life is.

Don't get me wrong, i love where my career is at, but I wish i could do more. Hell, I have a writing degree, yet the book I've been perfecting since high school is still just a Word Doc in my computer instead of a hard cover book sitting on my shelf.

'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' blasted from my phone. And there is my warning, their is only one reason that song is playing as my ring tone. 'Cheating Scumbag' shone from my phone as the caller ID.

"Nope. Not answering that," I mumbled under my breath.

The song rang over and over from my desk. I ignored again. It had been three months but that asshole was still calling.

I called put to Jade, who was sitting in the dest next to mine, "I can't work right now, can you tell Monica I'm going home?"

Jade nodded. Excitedly exhausted, I got up and kissed his cheek.

"Youe the best!"

"I know, have fun girl."

"My Jade, happy Valentines Day. If you need help picking something for Jackie just call ok."

He turnedin his chair as I walked backwardsto the door, "You doubt I don't have something already?"

I winked at him. "Never Jade, your reservation is at 8, La Costa Grill. Don't forget!"

"Your a life saver!"

He yelled after me as I walked out. I shook my head, a huge smiled plastered on my face. I walked, enjoying the fresh air. Ah the City of Angels, how I love you.

I dogged between people, trying to get to my favorite coffee shop, Luana's. She was like a mom to me and her coffee was the best. I stopped infront of the hole in the wall that was my favorite place in the world. Its not much, but hey, its home.

I walked in and went to my usual place, a worn down corner booth by the window. I love coming here to write, which is what I was about to do right now.

Snuggling into my seat, I took out my laptop from my bag, a big bulky cross body I stole from my boyf-

I pulled my hair into a pony tail. The pink dye had started to fade. It honestly lasted much longer than I espected, given my hair was barely long enough to reach past my sholders so it was easy to care and maintain.

"Hey Roxy the fox!"

Lena and Luna, Luana's twin daughter's came and sat across me in the booth. Yes, Luana went for a pattern. Wait till you meet her son, James, just kidding, his name's Larry; don't laugh he hates it.

"Hey, where's the third triple L?"

I gladly took the coffee Luna offered me, a Forever In Love. I made it when I was working here during college, don't ask me how. Luana searched up the footage of me making it and added it to the menu to celebrate me getting a job at the radio station. It's mine, as well as other's, favorite drink, and it cells a lot during February. Larry even started saying that whoever shares one together will stay in love forever, apparently it doesn't always work.

"Larry's in college, needs some help with homework or something." Luna started.

"If you ask me, he just want to see the cute new girl. I don't blame him, she's hot." Lena continued.

"Lena you think everyone's hot!"

"Not true! I don't think Thunder is hot!"

"That's cause you think he's cute!"

"True."

I just sat there and sipped on my drink, people watching through the window.

Oh shit!

I saw a very familiar man walk by the window, a man i didn't want to see. I sunk into my seat wanting to tear my eyes from the window too, but I couldn't. I couldn't stop staring at him. He looked older, his clean face now had a stubble, and his usually neat dark chocolate hair was messy and all over the place. He looked so changed and it had only been three months, three months since I walked out of his top floor office with a tear streaked face. Three months since I left him stunned, his secretary in his lap, and a face smeared with lipstick.

I sunk deeper in my seat, almost becoming part of it, when I notice him turn to look into the cafe.

"Are you ok Roxy?" The girls wondered in unishion.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm ok."

I turned to the other side, looking at the people inside the cafe.

The girls looked out the window, "Isn't that Stefan, as in your boyfriend Stefan?" Luna asked looking at me.

"Ex boyfriend..."

"What!" They both screamed.

"Ex boyfriend" I said stronger.

There jaws practically fell to the floor as I played lightly with a small strand of hair that framed my face. Stealing a peak at the window, I notice him staring at the black cursive letters that took up most of the window space.

The girls finally regained their voice.

"What! Why, you guys where going on strong!" Lena objectified

"I guess not strong enough."

"But- but you guys where perfect for each other!" Luna said.

"Not perfect enough."

"You guys where in love!" They said together, again.

"You girl need to stop doing that."

"Doing what?"

"Talking in unishion."

They where about to respond when Luana came from the back of the place, where everything is made.

"Oh my! Roxy! How are yous sweetheart?"

"Im good mom."

She always wanted every single one of her few employees to call her mom, she really became a mother figure to me.

"Is that Stefan? What's he doing out there? Go and tell him to come in Roxy!"

I turned to see that he was still there.

"Mom I don't think that's a good idea." Lena came to my rescue.

"What, why?"

"Oh look there's someone at the counter!"

Thank you Luna.

Luana and Luna walked away leaving me sitting with Lena.

"Hey," she turned to look out the window briefly "it's going to be ok."

I nodded at her. I know she was trying to reassure me but I wasn't feeling so reassured.

"We'll tell mom for you, go home and rest."

I nodded again putting my still un opened laptop back in my bag. I got up and walked towards the door. Pushing it open, I felt a small gush of air hit my face. With my head down, I turned in the opposite direction, trying to avoid him at all cost.

All my hopes and dreams cam to a crashing end with one single word.

"Roxy...."
