Chapter: 1

*Sparrow's Point Of View*

A knock on the door has me cursing the gods for waking me up another day. I'm tempted to go back to sleep, but the sleep instantly vanishes when I hear my dad through the door.

" Sparrow."

"Sparrow"

"Sparrow, get your ass up now! If your not up in five minutes I'm coming in there" Dad screams into my door.

I sit up instantly getting ready for school not wanting my bear of a dad to come in here. Turing into my bathroom I practically crawl into the shower and scrub my body and hair as fast as humanly possible. I turn the water off before grabbing a towel to wrap around my waist, and prance off to my sink feeling more awake. I quickly look up into the mirror, taking in my onyx eyes and shoulder length sandy brown hair. I laugh quietly when I see how pale my skin has become from it being winter. Brushing my teeth quickly, I rush down the stairs and into the kitchen. Making myself toast and some coffee, which I put in a travel mug, I sprint out the front door and into my car before speeding off toward Jenna's House.

It take about five minute to get to her house, I haven't even parked the car before she's begging me to drive.

"Sparrow DRIVE! My parents and I fought again and I really don't want to be late to school again" She whines.

I chuckle but take off, our destination? Hell. Sorry, School. I mean what's the difference between school and hell? NOTHING.
