"I very much enjoyed this. I was a fun read, the characters and story expanding immensely as it went (almost to the point of bewildering me). The characters, settings, and scenes were vivid. The world-building (though, as I said, bewildering after a while) was most impressive. The grammar errors I saw were minor. I don't know what publishers would do with it, but I could see it being quite successful. In some ways, the story seems to be mix between Star Wars and the Avengers but better in a number of ways. It is a story, though, to which Hobbits need not apply. ;)"

"Bottom Line: I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Science Fiction. During my reading, I thought many times that this would make a good story for a movie. It reminded me of the StarWars movie franchise, not because of the plot but because of the diversity of characters​ and how they interacted with each other. Grammatical errors and story length (should have been 2 books) are highly subjective because although they did interrupt the flow of the story, they were easily overlooked. For a first novel and for a free novel this is quite acceptable. If I had purchased this novel then errors would be unexceptable. Good job, great story, and thank you for releasing it on Inkitt."

"Really can't get enough of this story. It flows well, it captivates the reader from page 1, and throws you into such a well-written, well conceptualized world that you'll believe it's real. Everything in the book is meshed together really well. From character backgrounds to plot twists, you can tell that the author has a limitless imagination and can really make you believe in the physics of this world he has helped us discover. As far as sci-fi goes, I really appreciate having such strong female characters and think that there should be more books like this one. Perhaps many more such fantastic works of litterature can be expected from this budding author!"

"sorry to say this story cost me two days of losing sleep, after 1 am the first night and then 12:15 the second one, just couldn't find a good place to stop reading. Some day I hope to be able to write as fine a story as this. My only complain is that it should have been broken up into a trilogy or something like that. Enough said "great story" I will be looking for more stories from Gavin Bellis, this one is a winner"

"As the title above suggests, I think your story is brilliant, given that I have only read the prologue. However, I am sold that it is a good story. I am compelled to read what happens next, which for an author is a desired reaction from a reader. Grammatically there are a few faux pa's there and there but most of the groundwork has been done so an editor who picks it up shouldn't have much work to do. Personally, I think you need to paraphrase and work on your paragraphing more. Try divide new thought processes into new paragraphs. If you think that the next line deviates from the previous line of thought then start a new paragraph instead. Do I think someone else should read it? Yes, definitely! Especially if you like a very long read. That's a good thing."

"I just read the first bit of this story and thought I'd review it now before I go any further. I have really enjoyed it so far. The beginning with the battle sequence that changes into a conversation between the young woman and her superior officer was very clever. The way that you portray the characters -- with their outward appearances tying into their personality -- is really well done. It leaves the reader wanting more. You set up quite a bit plot-wise but leave just enough unanswered that there is a lot of intrigue. I definitely want to know what happens next. The writing style was simple and to the point, and I think I've only noticed one typo so far. Great work! I can't wait to see where this goes. I don't have any complaints so far.
