Chapter 1
Victoria’s POV
Adrian. The name of the boy I've been dating for 2 years now. The boy that my cousin, Lewis, had introduced me to when I was a junior in high school. The boy with charming icy blue eyes, tall, brown hair, olive skin color, caring and, loving. You get the memo he’s just perfect in my eyes. On the other hand, I am of average height, curly black hair with honey highlights and tan skin. We are holding hands walking around the park. The atmosphere was filled with kids running around laughing. Adrian and I have actually talked about having our own family.
“Victoria did you know that a chef died?”
“Really who?”
“Yeah he pasta away.” Adrian likes to make dad jokes a quality that just makes me love him more. He’s a dork but I wouldn’t imagine myself without him. We walked around for another hour. It was getting late so I had to go home. My mom is very strict. As I arrived home I greeted my mom.
“Hi mom”
“Hi, Victoria, how was it with your boyfriend?”
“It was good I had fun.”
“Remember be careful I don’t want grandkids now.”
“Eww, mom gross no I wouldn’t do that yet.”
“ What do you mean yet remember not giving up anything only after marriage.”
“Yes, mom I know I was just joking around.”
“Yeah right cuidado si me entero que estás haciendo algo de adultos te doy unas buenas palizas.” (Careful if I see you doing adult things I will give you a good beating).
“Yo se mami no se preocupe yo se las reglas. Sé que tengo que estudiar primero. “ (I know mom, don't worry, I know the rules. I know I have to first study). She looked at me skeptical but I went inside my room to do homework. I am currently a senior. I received a text from my friends.
Arianna: Mreow.
Victoria: haiii :)
Paola: What's up
Emily: Hi humans
Arianna: What are you guys up to right now?
Victoria Nothing much
Emily: Sleeping
Paola: Questioning my life.
Victoria: Wow what a loser
Paola: Wow I see how it is
Victoria: Jk jk u know I'm joking
Arianna: Uh, anyways, do you guys have any plans next Saturday?
Victoria: No why?
Arianna: I was wondering if we can hang out, we haven’t done one in a while...
Emily: Sure I don’t have anything to do
Paola: Yeah I’m down
Victoria: I have to check but I will text you guys later I have to go do some school work. Bye
Emily: Die.
Arianna: Okay, see ya around, Wuigi.
Paola: ok cya
I have been friends with Arianna, Emily, and Paola since I started middle school. They are like sisters to me. We do everything together. I have to focus on Calculus because it’s a pain in the head. I finished my homework and went to sleep well at least I tried to. I have insomnia so it makes it difficult for me to sleep but, I have to get mentally prepared for school tomorrow.
