Chapter 1

The woods raced by giving her tunnel vision as she continued to run. She tried her best to dodge trees and roots as she sprinted blindly through the unfamiliar woods. Her heart was in her throat as she panicked and her brain went on autopilot. Her pursuers gained on her as the wound on her thigh sent a throbbing pain throughout her body. Suddenly she tripped over a root and went crashing into the clearing. She let out a high pitched whine as she tried to get back onto her feet. Her vision blurred. She heard the low growling of her pursuers as they began to stalk around her.

"Looks like you couldn't run as fast as you thought, she-wolf." growled the one on the right. A large dark brown colored wolf with its scruffy fur raise and teeth bared at her. His companion was calmer, with hungry eyes staring at her as they both circled her.

"Please stop. I don't understand," she begged, crawling back away from the on her belly in pain. The large bite mark on her hind leg oozing blood that dripped onto the forest floor. The calm wolf let out a barky laugh.

"You're friends aren't here to save you, little wolf. You're ours now," he said with a sickening grin stretching across his wolf face. "Leo, you may do the honors since you found her. Do as you will. She is yours." said the calmer wolf to his companion. The injured female russet wolf let out a whimper as she backed herself up into the trunk of the large tree. She closed her eyes tensing for what was about to come, but an attack never came. She opened her eyes when she heard a series of large growls and snarling. With their backs turned towards her, there were two large wolves that she had never seen before. One was a bit smaller than the other but both were larger than she. The smaller of the two was a beautiful white color, the other, larger one, was a deep midnight black. She watched as her two saviors warded off the persuing wolves that were about to kill her. When the attacking wolves retreated the large black wolf trotted to her side and let out a low whine as he began to circle her. He sat laid down next to her and licked her wounded thigh.

"Thank you." She whispered softly in her head before passing out from both exhaustion and the loss of blood.

She shifted from her light auburn wolf form to her naked human form curled in a ball on the forest floor. Blood was still seeping from her thigh, even though the saliva from the black wolf and her own wolf genes had begun to heal the large bite wound. The two wolves that saved her shifted into their human forms. The large black wolf transformed into a tall, black-haired young male with a young face and doe shaped dark eyes. He looked to be in his early twenties. The smaller white wolf turned into a smaller, slightly older male with silver hair and a blank look on his face.

"What the hell were these rogues doing in our territory!? And where she came from, the moon goddess only knows!" growled the silver-haired male. The black-haired male ignored him as he all his focused on the young female lying wounded on the ground. He leaned down and gently lifted her in his arm with extreme care. His dark eyes never left her unconscious face. They roamed her porcelain skin, taking in all of the soft features that graced it. The silver-haired male who had been ranting about the unwelcomed wolves in their territory took notice that his companion wasn't listening.

"Jaxson?" he questioned as he walked closer to the dark-haired male with the young woman in his arms. "Are you even listening to me?"

"Hmm? Sorry,...I just...she...I don't know what this is...I feel...weird......I can't let her go. She needs help we need to help her. Teo, please." begged Jaxson with desperate eyes as he looked at the older male. Teo’s eyes softened at the younger male before patting him on the shoulder.

"Alright, Let's go. Don't worry Jax, she will be fine." he comforted before they ran back through the woods towards their house. Thankfully they weren't too far away to and their wolf genes allowed them to be much faster than average humans.

Jaxson burst through the door of the large house with Teo on his heels, startling the other residents of the household.

"What happened?! Are you guys okay!?" exclaimed a tall blonde man with very broad shoulders. Jaxson had a look of panic in his eyes as the female in his arms let out a groan of pain as she shifted in his hold. He could see a few tears glistening on her pale cheeks.

"Jai, please. Help her!" he begged. The blonde man looked at the young woman in Jungkook's arms before looking over at Teo.

"Bring her to the medical room." demanded the blonde male quickly. "Teo, what happened?" he asked as Jaxson scurried off with the girl in his arms.

"We found her being chased and wounded by a couple of rogues that got into our territory...Jai...I think she might be Jaxson mate. He's acting like you did when you first met Lydia." whispered Teo as they walked towards the medical room. Jai tensed up slightly.

"Then we better not let her die," replied Jai as he quickly headed off to the medical room to try and save the poor girl.
