“The last glimmer of hope is fading. Their armies are vast, and our defenses won’t hold much longer. When they fall, those left behind will perish. All we can do now is pray—pray that the Thirteen succeed, pray that enough survive to rebuild what was lost, pray that all of this hasn’t been in vain. For if the Gate remains open, everything we fought and died for will have been for nothing. Our final hope rests with Nydoel... I pray she is strong enough to complete the ritual.”
