Chapter 1
In the land of the phoenixes known as Onyx, there lived a hybrid by the name of Felix Aeris. He was half human and half phoenix. His father’s name was Paximus and he was a phoenix. His mother’s name was Amber and she was a human. Felix was born in a city inside of Onyx which is called Ignia. It was where Paximus and Amber raised Felix. They noticed one strange thing when they saw him. They noticed that Felix already had wings as a newborn. He developed faster for his age. Since the arrival of Felix, Paximus and Amber promised that they would take care of him forever.
Two years passed and Fiona Aeris, the sister of Felix was born. Two more years passed, and Amber was pregnant with another phoenix and his name was Jade Aeris. The doctors said that this phoenix would have dark fire powers. The doctors also added that throughout time his power would evolve and he would become stronger. The firepower itself gives him a lot of strength and the speed of a phoenix. Felix was not expecting to have a brother. Felix had always wished of having a brother. He even thought of his own team to have in the future with his brother and sister. The doctors said that this phoenix would have dark fire powers. Six years passed by and Jade was six years old. At the time, Felix was ten years old and Fiona was eight years old. One night, Amber and Paximus put the phoenixes to sleep in their beds. Minutes later, the phoenixes fell asleep. Paximus and Amber went walking to their bed and went to sleep also. The morning after, they all woke up to flames around their house. They were in fear and did not know how the fire started. When Paximus looked outside he saw phoenixes setting every house ablaze.
“I think that is the Tribe of the Pyros!” yelled out Paximus.
“The Tribe of What?” asked Amber.
“The Tribe of Pyros, a group of evil phoenixes who hunt us and are seeking revenge for what the king of Onyx had done to them in the past,” said Paximus.
“What was the king’s name?” Felix asked.
“The name of the king is King Pharos, our current king. The Tribe of Pyros wanted to take our land and steal all of our powers to make the tribe stronger than what it is. What they wanted to fulfill was for the leader to become the king of this land. If he became the king he would make the phoenixes do what he wanted,” said Paximus.
“Is that all?” Felix asked.
“No, there’s more to it than just that. Pharos had battled The Tribe of Pyros. In order to defeat them Pharos used all of his fire energy and blasted them all way. He defeated The Shadow Phoenixes, The Blaze Phoenixes, The Blue Phoenixes, and The Viridian Phoenixes,” said Paximus.
“Who are they?” Felix asked.
“Well, they are the different types of phoenixes that are in the Tribe of Pyros and they have different elements. All of the phoenix elementals came from a kingdom that is far away from here,” said Paximus.
“Thank you for telling me the story father, but we need to find a way to get to safety,” said Felix.
They all ran away from their home and tried to find an escape from the tribe. They looked for a place to hide their children. Huge flames of fire were seen all across the land of Onyx and soon there came a huge brightness of light in the sky. The evil phoenixes burned a lot of houses where the phoenixes lived. All of the Phoenixes went into a shelter where it was safer. Later, King Pharos appeared in the sky. Felix and his family glared up and they were surprised.
“By the power of the infinite fire and the inevitable cosmic flames, I’ll make The Tribe of Pyros feel my wrath. You shall not pass by Onyx again, taking the lives of innocent phoenixes!” shouted King Pharos.
King Pharos created a sword with his flames and put all of his cosmic flames into The Tribe of Pyros, and they all escaped from the land. The Tribe of Pyros did not come back for a while. The king told everyone to return to their houses. King Pharos noticed some houses were destroyed and he rebuilt the houses with an unknown power. The Aeris family walked back to their house and went to rest. They had a hard time trying to survive from the evil phoenixes and Paximus couldn’t use his power because of how strong those phoenixes were. Paximus’ flames were not as strong as The Tribe of Pyros’ flames.
Paximus hugged his family with relief. Of course, King Pharos did not want any of them to get hurt and protected the phoenixes from the evil force.
“I’d like to say we are all safe from the evil phoenixes. You boys can go do whatever you want now but make sure to come home for lunch,” said Amber.
The boys nodded. At that moment everything was safe. Almost all of the phoenixes were safe but some had to go to the hospital. At the end of the day, there was peace.
