Everyln day started pretty lazily, It was snowing, the snow was melting all over the ground, she watched icy flakes fall all over roads, buildings, and cars. The sky was hazy as she rubbed her hands together when she took a lazy yawn, she wrapped a muffler around her neck as she walked to the gate of the university, it’s being days since got accepted by the university.

Riley spotted her at the gate and walked to her straight away, Riley was her high school friend, Also someone she is close with. Riley’s blue eyes wavered as she looked at the green Hazel eyes of Everyln before she spoke up.

“Arent you cold …oh god it’s freezing “ Riley pulled Everyln by her hand softly and they continued to walk.

“Yeah, it's cold these days” Everyln gives Riley her best smile as they stepped inside the university.

Everyln knew from this moment onwards so many things are going to change for her, she doesn’t know if it’s good or bad.

The class started very soon, Everyln was listening to her professor speak about regulations and homework, Professor decided to make partners it didn’t interest Everyln , she spotted the guy sitting next to her in complete silence she thought why didn’t she notice him before.

He looked brat because he was sleeping while the professor was talking, he had chocolate brown hair, pale skin, he had sharp features, she couldn’t see his face because his face was turned other side, she ignored the guy and started listening professor.

“Ivan…” The professor called out the name, Ivan’s eyes shot open in surprise.

“What were you up to last night” All students stared at him when he realized he dozed off in class.

“Well...I was…” He rubbed back of his head, Professor interrupted him “Ivan meet me in my office after the class,” he said in a commanding tone without letting him complete his sentence, The professor holds the textbook in his right hand to begin again with the lecture.

The Professor was in his late 20s, he was in casual clothes like any other teacher, he had kind eyes as he looked around the class like he was looking for someone but then he continued with his lecture.

Ivan looked still drowsy and in mess. Everyln glanced at him with one hand on her cheek, her eyes met with his golden mysterious eyes, It turned darker when he holds her gaze with him then looked away, she thought he is her partner now.

The class carried on, Ivan was scribbling in his notebook all of sudden he noticed Everyln sitting next to her. As soon as he saw her the look on his face completely changed, then he looked away from her like he pretended he didn’t saw her, Everyln felt strange seeing him act that way.

He was her partner it's better to get to know him first Everyln repeated back of her mind “Hey…” Everyln whispered to him.

“What do you want” Ivan spoke to her, His sharp jawline, and cheekbones became visible as he clenched his jaw.

“We are partners so I was trying to get to know you” Everyln replied him as he turned his face other side revealing to her, his side position.

“I don’t need you” Ivan replied coldly he folds his hands as he gave her a quick look.

Everyln studied him he looked like someone who doesn’t want to be bothered, What’s with this guy, Why is he so gloomy she questioned herself.

When class ended Riley walked to Everyln “Hey let’s grab a lunch together”

“You go ahead I will come in a while” Riley gave her a big smile before she left.

Everyln arranged her textbooks and took the important ones in her hands, she gazed at Ivan, he was surrounded by his group of friends, they looked close to him. Ivan keep his books in his bag as they all left together, Everyln thought he had no friends, she was surprised to see his personality change so quickly.

Everyln saw a photo on the ground under the Ivan table, Everyln leaned down to pick up the photo, she studied the photo,she saw Ivan was standing together with a young guy along with the red-haired woman.

She turned the photo and it was written on it ”we will be together no matter always remember that.”

Everyln searched for Ivan she couldn’t find him , And then she found Ivan in the cafeteria, Everyln saw Riley was waiting for her, she put the photo in one of her books she was holding, I will give him later Everyln decided.

“What took you so long” Riley frowned as she took a bite of the sandwich.

Riley gave a sandwich to Everyln “I had to take care of something, I am sorry I made you wait” she took it.

Everyln catches sight of guys behind Riley having lunch together, her eyes caught up with Ivan, He acted like he didn’t see her again. He looked pretty popular out there, surrounded by other boys who were admiring him, Everyln drifted her gaze away from them to Riley.

Everyln took a bite of the sandwich “ What are you looking at” Riley asked her.

“Nothing” Everyln answered her.

She turned her head to look behind her, then face to Everyln with a full smirk on her face.

“Don't tell me you were looking at them” she pointed at them openly, Everyln pinched her “Stop ..you are making it obvious”.

“Ouch... ” She groaned, Everyln rubbed where she pinched her gently “Hey spit it out,” Riley forced her to speak.

She ignored Riley and started eating sandwich trying to avoid her questions “Hey ..take it easy ” Riley Calmed her down, her bright blue eyes stare back at her before she handed her a water bottle “I am fine, ”

Riley revealed “That guy you were just looking at is Ivan, He belongs from a very rich family have you ever heard about McKnight that’s his last name. I heard McKnight are very successful people if you know a McKnight you are lucky ” she paused Everyln leaned closer to the table fully interested in this Ivan topic.

“Are you talking about Mcknight the one who is always on popular articles are you kidding me, “Everyln keeps her hands on the table trying not to be amazed by what she just heard?

“Yeah, there’s a rumor about him it says Ivan is not who we think he is, it said that whoever comes near him eventually gets destroyed ...never ever play with this guy ... because it’s like you are playing with fire” Riley ended, her glance was hard and serious it was like she took this rumor very seriously.

“We talked earlier he was strange ” Evelyn murmured “You guys talked” Riley’s gaze dropped in surprise.

Everyln asked “Where did you hear that rumor” Everyln changed the topic, she find it hard to believe those rumors they can be lies made up by someone.

“I heard from one of my classmates they have seen this guy doing awful things, I don’t know if it’s true or not” Riley doubted herself.

“You better stop listening to gossips. You never know if they are made-up stories ” Riley agreed with her, Everyln had a straight face.

“I just know one thing for sure there is more to this guy than it looks like from outside, just look at him he might look like a normal person but there’s something about him that gives me a dark feeling ” Riley had a nervous glance all over her face.

She looked at Ivan who was so mysterious and dark at the same time, being friends with someone like him she finds it difficult.

After lunch Everyln saw Ivan leaving the cafeteria alone, she followed him, out of nowhere he disappeared she couldn’t find him “Looking for me” She heard Ivan’s voice.

He was standing leaning on the locker “I had to give you something”

“We are not so close to give things to each other” Ivan raised his brows.

“You are right, but we are partners” Everyln reminded him.

“I told you earlier I don’t need you, will you stop bothering me” Ivan keeps his hand on the locker with annoyance.

Everyln takes out a picture from her textbook “Is this yours” Ivan had a strong glaze on his face when he saw a picture in her hand and in a second there was no emotion on his face, she couldn’t read him it was like there was a big wall in front of Her and Ivan.
