Pretty much fresh out of high school....okay so not really, once I graduated with my hero license I didn’t feel like I was ready to save or even help people at that.
I felt like I needed more time to just be okay with myself. I mean it didn’t really help that I hate myself a lot..... with the 6 months that I guess “took off” well really delayed myself.
I was training still, with a pro hero called eraser head. He had kinda always showed me the ropes especially because he was my homeroom teacher my first year at UA.
He’s like a big brother to me, on the other hand I started to work for his agency and he is still working at UA the year after I graduated so I got to hang out with all the friends I had when I was in school, Because I kinda needed to stay close to him for the most part, he agreed to give me extra training during this time after a little convincing.
I was friends with all the grades below me even higher than me but never really people in the same grade as me, and I didn’t stop, I got to meet the freshmen that sensei taught and it was super fun. They were all cool except for mineta ewwwhh even just saying his name gives me shivers.
After those 6 months however I was feeling good about it, About being a pro hero and I decided to work for sensei’s agency. It was a kinda rough start he was always concerned about me always wanting to know my location but I can understand his worries, I do tend to find trouble a little too often...heh......He had kinda been busy lately too.
Others always aim to be number 1 but I just aim to be the best hero I can! I never cared about fame, fortune or popularity and I still don’t it’s about being a good person helping regardless of the circumstance!
Earlier today I was hanging out with Amajiki and he had work studies with the FatGum Agency and he left his lunch so I decided that I’d get him a new one I got dressed in my hero outfit a gradient of blues on a crop top with some shorts to match as well as my mask and black boots, the same colors my hair matches my hero outfit with black roots then dark blue and lighter blues. I went out to get him his favorite takoyaki for his lunch and headed to FatGums agency. The building was huge at least 5 floors, the doors were super wide and really tall. I entered the building to be greeted by a lady at the front desk
“Hello how may I help you?” She said with a warm smile
“Umm yes I am here to drop off food for a UA student that’s doing work studies here.”
“Black hair correct?” I nodded my head in agreeance “he’s on the top floor in FatGums office”
“okay, thank you!” I said with a smile I got on the elevator and hit the 5th floor button. I’ve heard of the hero FatGum but I’ve never really seen him or ran into him though, I got out of the elevator, thank god they had signs to tell me where to go I went down a kinda long hallway then I got to a big tall door and on the side it read FatGum’s Office so I knocked on the door and waited until I heard a “come in” why did that sound so southern I thought, I opened the door and all I saw was Amajiki at first not noticing the large man behind the desk when I started talking.
“Seriously what am I gonna do with you Amar~ geaze nothing is THAT important that you forget your lunch but don’t worry I got ya a new one” I handed him the lunch
“T-thank y-you but you didn’t h-have to” I ruffled his hair
“No problem your quirk is based upon what you eat so it was necessary that you got your lunch!”
“Hey there...?” I jumped back and fell I began to mumble Spanish curse words under my breath, I get up to my feet again looking at the man behind the desk now realizing that that’s FatGum.
“I’m sorry for startling you” he said genuinely I quickly bow
“Ahh Im sorry I didn’t see you there I was just dropping off SunEaters lunch because he left it!” I say quickly, embarrassed at the fact I might have embarrassed myself in front a pro
“I see are you going to introduce your lovely friend to me Amajiki?” Fatgum said with a grin
“W-welll i-i-i” Amajiki stuttered
“You don’t have to, I’ll do it myself Amajiki, My name is Misterious Aqua Deep, I am a new hero!” I say proudly
“I’m fatgum as you my have noticed and my quirk is absorption using my fat which is powered by me eating a lot, what is your quirk miss deep?” He looked at me genuinely interested in my reply
“Well based off of your hero name it kinda suggests your quirk, a lot like mine!, my quirk is water manipulation I can take any type of water and make it pure and control it like so!” I took the water from a glass he had on his table and played with it and made a mini water show with it then put in back in the glass. I got a round of applause for my performance and bowed
“As I said I only came to bring this kid his lunch I would hate to overstay my welcome” I say being sincere and ruffling Amajiki’s hair
“You could never overstay your welcome here, but if you must go come back any time” he said with a wide smile
“Thank you again!” I say leaving his office then leaving the building to begin my patrol.
