~Maileen does a stream, calls her friends and ends up calling Karl as well as falling in love with him~
Maileen could hear the faint click of her mouse as she got ready to start her stream.
“Hi chat!” she exclaimed excitedly.
“So in this stream we will be building a cafe in the dream smp!”
The young girl giggled as she quickly ran, reaching the spot she thought was perfect to put a cafe in.
“Chat! We found a perfect place to build my cafe! Ok, now I’m not really sure what blocks and colors we should use so chat please help me!”

A string of ‘yes’ filled the chat as Maileen grinned at her accomplishment
“Well, thanks for tuning in guys! I’m ending the stream, have a wonderful day or night!”

The stream had ended and Maileen had just gotten multiple discord notifications, it read:
Clementine: ayo!! Guys we should call 😫
Lilac: yes LETS GOOO!!! I’m free so I can call
Dior: ok let’s call
Clementine: wheres mai tho?
Maileen answered simply with a ‘yeah sure let’s call’

The room suddenly became more lively as the voices of her best friends echoed.
“Mai, your stream was boring, I don’t know how people watch that stuff” Clementine said
“Says you, you barely stream. At least I’m giving my viewers content,”
“Ok you may have a point there,” scoffed the curly haired girl
“Anyways have you-“
Incoming call from Candle kid
“oh- sorry Karl’s calling me, bye!” Maileen quickly ended the call, only to join another
“Karl!”
“Hey Maileen!” Karl smiled brightly
“Why’d you call?” The girl asked curiously
“I wanted to check up on you!” Karl replied simply
“Candle kid, we talk everyday,”
“Yeah and we didn’t do that today!”
“That’s because we’re doing it right now-I”
They both burst out into a fit of giggles
“c-candle k-id?” Karl managed to say through muffled giggles
“I-it’s y-your nickname!” Maileen couldn’t contain herself.
“Why a-are w-we laughing a-again?” Karl said, slapping his desk
They both contained themselves after a while and finally stopped laughing.
“Hey mai, remember the time when we were kids, I dropped my icecream on your head and you started crying, and then afterwards we both started laughing?”
“Yeah I do why?” Questioned Maileen
“It kinda reminds me of right now,”
“Yeah...anyways I have to go make myself something to eat, talk later?” Mai was getting hungry.
“Oh yeah sure! Bye!” Karl said
She ended the call and went downstairs to make herself some shrimp flavored noodles.
Her stomach did a flip when she started to think about Karl...had he always looked this pretty?
“Wait...”
Did she have a crush on her childhood best friend?
“It...it would make sense,”
She put her bowl in the sink and ran up the stairs, plopping herself onto her bed and drifting slowly to sleep....
