Prologue

Where did he go? Where did who go you might ask, well my latest victim of course. “I saw you go into the woods.” I whisper to myself. “Damn it I’ve lost h-” I pause when I hear a branch snap to my left about 6 feet away. I creep towards the sound as quietly as I can trying not to alarm whatever is in these woods. Not that I won’t survive but he might get away and I can’t let him escape because I don’t feel like getting arrested today. I pause for a second to listen and I hear leaves rustle in the forest about 3 feet to my right. “You think you’re so clever changing your course of action.” I say knowing the look on his face would be worth it. “ YOU WHERE WRONG″ I shout as I leap out of the thick trees and tackle him into a clearing. (Which was beautiful but I was too busy with the task at hand) As I sit on top of him my arm to his neck my dagger ready to penetrate my prey, I wonder if he has information but I don’t say anything. “Please don’t kill me, please I-I-I will do anything for you please.” My victim pleads as he tries to break free, although the way I’m grabbing him he won’t be able to escape his fate no matter how hard he tries. “Really anything…?” I say playing along.

“Yes, anything just please don’t kill me” He says with fear in his eyes my favorite emotion someone could give me. The way he was speaking and looking at me I decided to give him a quick painful death. (I’m thoughtful what can I say) “Really so you would even shut up?” I say as I sink the dagger into his throat and blood starts gushing out as soon as I remove it. (He won’t die he will just bleed out until he does. Changed my mind about being quick because that’s no fun.) “Why me please? I have a family. What would your parents think about this?” He asks through gasps.

“My family is dead. I have no one” I slide my dagger across his neck careful not to cut him. Then I plunge the dagger into his throat and blood starts to drip on my hand and I laugh. “You like this?” I laugh as I drag the dagger across his neck. All the blood dripping onto the grass. This feels great but how to dispose of this body. I could burn him, no the smell of burning flesh is strong. I could bury him, but that would be noticed. Hmmmm what could I do? Oh I know just what to do with my little friend here I just need some acid. Before we get to that you are probably wondering who I am. My name Is Sashami Kai but people call me Sash and I am the mysterious killer although nobody knows that except for you and this guy. What his name is doesn’t matter he got in my way figured out who I am and I can’t have him running around telling people who I am not when I haven’t found ‘him’ yet, who is ‘him’ that my friends is where we get into the story about me so let’s head down memory lane shall we.
