My Paranormal Experience

So, last night when I went to bed, I kept hearing a clicking noise coming from the other side of the room. There wasn't anyone in my room and I didn't let the bunny in. Eventually the clicking got louder. It wasn't until about 12:40 that I decided to get up and go tell my dad. But when I left the room to head downstairs, I saw something disturbing. In my brother's room, on the other side of his bed, was a figure standing around 152 centimetres. He was lanky, somewhere around bony actually, as I could just make out his ribcage from the nightlight in the room. He had dark-grey skin and round, forlorn-looking eyes with bags underneath them, as if he'd had chronic insomnia that had lasted more than a decade. He didn't seem to have any hair at all.

And he just stood there staring at my brother for a good half minute before his eyes darted to meet mine, looking almost angry. Right then, my bunny, who I didn't even know was in the room at the time, made a break for it and darted down the stairs. I did the same.

When I went downstairs to tell my dad (Thank Goddess he was home!) about the creature in my brother's room, we both had to go up there to investigate. But when we got back up there, the creature was gone. He went to get some candles and some charms for all of the upstairs rooms and had me inspect my brother for vitals. Thankfully, he was unharmed.

Since I was now unable to sleep, he suggested I do a sketch of the creature (which I will upload to my Twitter later), write a description of it, and tell you guys on the Internets the next day. When I finally did go to bed, guess who I had accompany me for protection and comfort. You guessed it. The bunny.

Moulinnn: The reality of abuse is so grim that sometimes it cannot be comprehended easily through words. But this book does a wonderful job of framing the correct narrative - abuse is not love.
