"Overall, this is a great story. I feel like this should be a longer book somehow though? So I'm glad there is another one, because I definitely don't have all my questions answered. Avery is a complicated character and I don't fully understand where she is coming from, but that's partly because a lot of her backstory has been hinted at but not fully explained. From a technical writing standpoint, there were several times in the beginning chapters especially when the tense would change from past to present and it took me out of the story a bit. But overall, very well done."

"This was... I don't even know how to describe this. First, I love Damien. I loved his interactions with Avery. I like the authors writing skill. Sort of tentative but compelling. This was a great read, honestly, and I was shocked to see such few reviews. I'm not done reading but I was so affronted at the lack of reviews that I had to write my own. All I could think was "why in the world doesn't this have more reviews?" Anyway, this was awesome. Sweet, realistic and awfully memorable. It's not the kind of romance you'd read and forget. Nope. Definitely not. You're a great writer @ArcticThoughts"

"A compelling take on the romance genre that charmed me from the start! Most notable so far is the fascinating character development, enhanced by witty and humorous dialogue. I adored the interactions between the protagonist and Damienâ so wonderfully written. Well done! My only concern is the relatively slow-paced plot, but of course, that is only a personal preference. Overall, this story is richly developed with delightfully intriguing characters. A fantastic read perfect for lovers of the drama and romance genres!"

"OK, so . . . *deep breath* So the romance is very clear-cut (I mean it in a good way) with a lucid display of emotions. I love the characters, I love Foster, I seriously love Foster, I truly seriously love Foster. Minor issues: a few spelling/grammatical errors, occasional hurrying in plot (things that can easily be fixed, basically)"
